Gujarat Mukhyamantri Gramya Swanirbhar Yojana 2024 for Employment of Women

Gujarat govt. has launched Mukhyamantri Gramya Swanirbhar Yojana 2024 with a provision of Rs.7 crore. The main objective of Mukhya Mantri Gramya Swanirbhar Yojana is to generate sustained employment for women in rural areas of the state. The state govt. also announced a new Mukhya Mantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana with Rs. 168 crore provision to enable Mahila Utkarsh Juth consisting of urban & rural women avail loan up to Rs.1 lakh at zero percent interest as the State Govt will pay the interest directly to the bank.
State government makes provision of Rs. 80 crore for Urban Health Centres per 10,000 population across Gujarat. Gujarat govt. announces Rs 9 crore in state budget for new scheme announced to provide subvention to small, traditional fishermen to procure engines. Gujarat Mukhyamantri Gramya Swanirbhar Yojana 2024

In order to generate self employment opportunities for women, Gujarat govt. has launched Mukhyamantri Gramya Swanirbhar Yojana 2024. In addition to this, various other initiatives has been taken by the state government which are as follows:-
  • 30000 per unit for On Farm Storage structure.
  • Kisan Parivahan Yojana Gujarat has been launched to provide subvention between Rs. 50000 to Rs. 75000 for procuring light load bearing vehicle.
  • Rs. 80 cr for free cycles to 1.6L girls.
  • Rs. 750 cr for Agri University.
  • New maternity hospital with 600 beds at the cost of Rs 180 crore to come up at SSG Hospital in Vadodara. The state government has made provision of Rs 50 crore for this in the state budget.
  • Guj Govt makes provision of Rs 125 crore to bring existing government hospitals in Navsari, Rajpipla and Porbandar, at par with medical colleges and for construction of new colleges and hostels.
  • With a provision of Rs.100 crore, a new scheme introduced to provide infrastructural facilities like cow sheds, fodder godown, tube well facility, solar rooftop installation, micro irrigation, sprinkler etc as one time subvention for upgrading Panjra Pols.
  • Provision of Rs. 200 crore as part of new scheme for providing subvention to fishermen to provide VAT exemption on diesel used in mechanized fishing boats.
  • Government allocates Rs 1,190 crore for implementation of voluntary crop insurance scheme in the state.
  • To strengthen 108 Ambulance Services for Gujarat, Gujarat government will procure some 150 new ambulances. Government has announced a provision of Rs. 27 crore.
  • Govt announced Madar-e-Vatan scheme under which natives of Gujarat can contribute to provide basic infrastructure facilities to their village.
  • Government of Gujarat has made a provision of Rs 35 crore to construct some 500 Aanganwadi Centres across the state.
  • Fishermen in Gujarat to get modern equipment for making inland and marine fisheries lucrative and safe. State government allocates Rs 87 crore for this in budget.
  • Under Mukhya Mantri Nidan Yojana: provision of Rs 7 crore for making modern instruments available for testing blood samples at Primary Health Centres.
  • To assist millions of animal keepers of the state, a new Mukhya Mantri Pashudan Sahay Yojana announced with Rs. 200 crore provision to provide 150-kg nutritious cattle feed at 50% concessional rate for one month when their cow or buffalo give birth to a calf.
  • Provision of Rs. 250 crore made to develop 500 Govt schools as ‘School of Excellence’ with modern infrastructural facilities, smart class rooms, computer lab, stem lab and sports facilities to impart education of global standard to talented students.
  • A new Gujarat Mukhya Mantri Pak Sangrah Yojana introduced with a provision of Rs. 300 crore to provide farmers Rs. 30,000 per unit for construction of on-farm storage structure to prevent crop-loss owing to unseasonal rain, cyclone, insect menace and other factors.
A new scheme for farmers to shift to Cow Based Natural Farming announced with Rs.50 crore provision to provide a subvention of Rs. 900 per month i.e. Rs. 10,800 per year to about 50,000 farmers who will require to use cow dung based manure for natural farming.
