Central govt. had launched Arogya Setu mobile app to tackle spread of Coronavirus [COVID-19] pandemic. Now people can perform Aarogya Setu Mobile App Download from either google play store (android) or apple app store (IoS / Iphone). This Aarogya Setu app will protect people from Coronavirus outbreak as it will track your location and if any COVID-19 affected comes in close contact with you, then automatically signal would be sent to you.

The Aarogya Setu app will use the person's GPS location to track movement of people. Previously, the central govt. has launched other apps like Corona Kavach App, My Gov App. This pandemic is exponentially increasing its graph and the number of people affected with COVID-19 are raising daily.

The new Arogya Setu app will also provide important information in order to protect you from Coronavirus spread.

As per the official statement which said that "Government of India launches Aarogya Setu, an App to strengthen our fight against COVID-19. The App will alert users of risk of infection & promote awareness on #COVID-19" tweet at MyGovIndia (@mygovindia). The Aarogya Setu is a mobile application developed by the Government of India to connect essential health services with the people of India in our combined fight against COVID-19.

How Aarogya Setu App Works

Upon successful downloading of Arogya Setu App in your android / apple iphone, install app and follow instructions. The app will seek permissions to seek your bluetooth and GPS to track your movement location. It is important to note that the data would be stored in the database in encrypted form and govt. / private / any other agency will not violate privacy rules of citizens.

In case any COVID-19 infected person comes closer to you, then this app will send you alert signals and notification. Moreover, users will get all necessary tips to tackle Coronavirus (COVID-19). In addition to this, people can fill an application survey form and enter necessary details to check whether you are safe or not.

It will ask you about your travel history, details with contact with other persons, symptoms and other details. Then it will tell you whether you are Corona positive or negative.
