covid19.odisha.gov.in Portal - Migrant Workers Online Registration Form 2020 at COVID-19 Odisha State Portal

Odisha government is inviting Migrant Workers online registration form at covid19.odisha.gov.in. This new COVID-19 Odisha State Portal is launched by CM Naveen Patnaik on 27 April 2020. Any migrant labourer stranded outside who wish to come to Odisha after lockdown must apply online. This includes returning to home state via any means either air or train or road.
All the migrant workers can fill up application form through offline or online mode to comeback to the Odisha state. The state govt. anticipates returning of around 5 lakh migrant workers after Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown is lifted. Applicants can register their name and address to travel to Odisha to contain spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

This registration of migrant workers at COVID-19 Odisha state portal is not optional i.e it is compulsory. Any person who is not registered will not be allowed to enter the state i.e their entry would be restricted. Applicant migrant laborers can also get apply form from gram panchayats.

  • Visit the official web portal at https://covid19.odisha.gov.in/
  • At the homepage, click at the "Fill Up Registration Form" tab as shown in the figure below:-
  • Then read terms and conditions, click at "Proceed" button to open the Coronavirus Odisha Migrant Workers Online Registration Form 2020 in the new window as below:-
  • Here enter personal details, address in Odisha state, present location, family member details, contact person in the state. 
After filling in all the details, click at the "Submit" button to complete the Migrant Workers online registration process. 

Coronavirus Odisha State Portal for Migrant Workers Registration - Do's & Dont's

The migrant workers can check do's and dont's before performing registration at the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Odisha State Portal:- 

Social Distancing


A) Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
B) Maintain at least 1 metre distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
C) Stay home when you are sick.
D) Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then dispose of the tissue safely.

Hand Wash


A) Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you coming from public place.

B) If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

C) Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

Self Isolation


A) Stay home for 14 days from the time you left an area with ongoing spread of virus.
B) Stay at home if you begin to feel unwell, even with mild symptoms until you recover.
C) If you develop fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical advice promptly.

Why Odisha Migrant Workers Registration is Needed 

Till date, the state govt. of Odisha is successful in preventing the spread of highly contagious disease in initial stages. This is done through mandatory registration of people who return from foreign countries. Now the same strategy has been adopted for migrants who comes from other states in the Odisha state. 
The state govt. has also demanded that corona test of migrants should be done at the place where they are stranded during Coronavirus lockdown.
