Skill India ASEEM Portal 2020 Registration for Candidates / Employers at smis.nsdcindia.org [Aatmanirbhar Skilled Employee Employer Mapping Portal]

Central government has starts Aatmanirbhar Skilled Employee Employer Mapping (ASEEM) Portal 2020 Registration at https://smis.nsdcindia.org/. This ASEEM Portal will help skilled people find sustainable livelihood opportunities. Skill India announces the launch of Atmanirbhar Skilled Employee Employer Mapping digital platform to help skilled workforce across India find job opportunities. This platform will be extremely beneficial to both employee and employer. Migrant workers would be able to find jobs as per their skill sets.

The ASEEM Portal will map details of workers based on regions and local industry demands and will bridge demand-supply gap of skilled workforce across sectors. It is a first-of-its-kind portal where migrant workers who are skilled in certain areas will now get employment. This is to compensate the loss of jobs which happened in the first quarter of FY 2020-21 due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown.

ASEEM portal will provide employers a platform to assess the availability of skilled workforce and formulate their hiring plans.

Below is the complete process to make registration at the ASEEM portal:-
Firstly visit the official website at https://smis.nsdcindia.org/
At the homepage, click at the "For Candidates" tab present in the main menu as shown here:-
Upon clicking this tab, the "Aseem by betterplace" app page will open as shown below:-
Applicants can download and install this Aseem by betterplace app on their smartphones and discover jobs.

How to Make ASEEM Portal Registration for Employers

Employers can hire skilled workers by making registration as employers at the ASEEM portal. Upon clicking the For Employers tab present in the main menu at the ASEEM portal, the following window will open:-

Employers can make login to hire employees as per their skill requirements.

  

What is ASEEM Portal All About 

ASEEM refers to all the data, trends and analytics which describe the workforce market and map demand of skilled workforce to supply. The Artificial Intelligence-based platform will also  provide real-time granular information by identifying relevant skilling requirements and employment prospects. The central govt. is committed to provide jobs to skilled migrant workers in their hometown through Aatmanirbhar Skilled Employee Employer Mapping (ASEEM) Portal.

Launching the portal, Minister of Skill Development and Entrpreneurship Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey said, the ASEEM portal has been envisioned to give a huge impetus to our persistent efforts to bridge the demand-supply gap for skilled workforce, bringing limitless and infinite opportunities for the youth.

He said, the  initiative also aims at accelerating India’s journey towards recovery by mapping skilled workforce and connecting them with relevant livelihood opportunities especially in the post COVID era. After the launch of 

ASEEM will be used as a match-making engine to map skilled workers with the jobs available. The ASEEM portal and App will have provision for registration and data upload for workers across job roles, sectors and geographies.
