The Gujarat govt is inviting Atmannirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana (AGSY) 2024 application / registration form. In this self reliant Gujarat scheme, the state govt. will providing loans of upto Rs. 5,000 crore to more than 10 lakh traders. Small traders can apply online for Rs. 1 lakh loan at 2% interest rate at the official website. Gujarat government is providing helping hand to the lower middle income group people through this scheme. The loans given under Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana (AGSY) 2024 will be given without security for 3 years. There would be no equated monthly installment (EMI) for the first 6 months. The scheme will provide financial assistance to small businessmen, skilled workers, auto-rickshaw owners, electricians, barbers and others.
The Gujarat state govt. of Gujarat will pay another 6% interest to banks who provides loan under the Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojna (AGSY). The parent scheme for AGSY Yojana (Self Reliant Gujarat Campaign) is Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan (Self Reliant India Campaign).
About Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana (AGSY) 2024
The state govt. of Gujarat has launched Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana 2024 in which lower middle income group can avail guarantee-free loan of upto Rs. 1 lakh from banks. This loan amount will be provided at an annual interest rate of 2% as it seeks to help them get back to normal life disrupted by the Coronavirus lockdown. Application forms to get loan upto Rs. 1 lakh under "Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana" are available free of cost from all branches of urban and district cooperative banks and credit societies across the state. The application forms for Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana are available at more than 9000 places. This includes around 1000 District Co-operative bank branches, 1400 urban co-operative bank branches and more than 7000 credit societies. Loans will be given by state cooperative bank, 18 district cooperative banks, 217 urban cooperative banks as well as credit societies.
Where to Submit AGSY Registration Form
The dully filled AGSY application form can be submitted at any of the branches of the District Co-operative banks, urban co-operative banks and credit societies in Gujarat along with the required documents.
This AGSY scheme aims to benefit small businessmen and cross section of people falling under the lower middle income group. As per the Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojna, loan tenure will be of 3 years and payment of installments will begin after 6 months of loan disbursal. Earlier, central govt. has launched Aatm Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan (self reliant India campaign) and AGSY follows the similar line.

Guarantee Free Loan under Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana
On the lines of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, CM of Gujarat announces Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana. This self reliant Gujarat campaign will benefit small traders, hawkers, skilled workers and cross section of people falling under the lower middle income group.
Approximately 10 lakh beneficiaries of Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana will get upto Rs. 1 lakh guarantee free loans from banks. All the collateral free loans to beneficiaries will be given on the basis of submitted application / registration form. The 2% interest would be borne by the beneficiaries while remaining 6% interest rate would be provided by the govt. to the banks directly.
The tenure for each loan provided under Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana 2024 will be of 3 years. Repayment of principal amount of loan along with interest will start after 6 months of loan sanctioning. The state government has come up with this scheme after discussion with district, scheduled and cooperative banks.
