AP Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme 2024 for Registration of Title to Housing Scheme Beneficiaries

Andhra Pradesh government has launched AP Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme 2024. YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhu Hakku Mariyu Bhu Raksha Scheme in AP Budget 2024-25

On 7th February 2024, Finance Minister presented AP Budget 2024-25. While presenting the Andhra Pradesh Budget, FM said "The YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhu Hakku Mariyu Bhu Raksha scheme was launched on 21st December 2020 for resurvey of landholdings across the state after a gap of 100 years. The resurvey is using the latest Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) technology & the newly recruited 11,118 Village surveyors. The farmers are given Bhu Hakku Patras with geo-coordinates, thus securing the land rights of the farmers permanently".

What is AP Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme 2024

Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has started Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku scheme to ensure transparency in registration of assets. CM said that all the beneficiaries should get clear land title after registration work is done. CM Jagan reviewed the progress of scheme to grant title to beneficiaries of housing schemes through One-Time Settlement (OTS).

Objectives of Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme

The state government announced a Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku scheme to clear all dues owned by housing scheme beneficiaries with payment of nominal charges under OTS. During a review meeting held at camp office, chief minister asked the senior officials to closely monitor the implementation of the scheme from the top.

Registration of Title to Beneficiaries of Housing Schemes

All the beneficiaries of housing scheme can make payment under One Time Settlement Scheme namely Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku scheme for registration of title. All the applications received under the scheme should be thoroughly scrutinized before routing them for registration. CM mentioned that there should not be any legal complications after the registration and the beneficiaries should get clear title.

Verification of Registration of Assets under OTS Scheme

Senior officials should verify every application to find out whether field teams scrutinizing the documents as required. The field level teams roped into conduct the survey and inspection of the documents should have proper knowledge of the subject to clear the application for registration. The field teams could gain proper knowledge over the issue only when the senior officials regularly monitor the implementation of Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme.

CM mentioned that field teams should create awareness among beneficiaries that the OTS will provide clear title to them. The OTS is not aimed at mopping up revenues to the exchequer. It has been designed to provide clear title to the poor people over the assets which they accrued by securing loans under different government housing schemes.
