How to Make Garden Kit Registration at TN Horticulture Portal
Here is how you can make garden kit registration by fillup of TN nutritive vegetable garden scheme online application form.- First of all, you can visit official website of Department of Horticulture and Plantation Crops at https://www.tnhorticulture.tn.gov.in/
- At the landing page, you can click "Garden Kit Registration" link. You can also simply click at direct link mentioned here for opening Tamil Nadu Garden Kit online registration form https://www.tnhorticulture.tn.gov.in/kit/
- On click of link, Tamilnadu Garden Kit online application form will open.
- Enter your application registered ID and other details asked in TN Garden Kit application form. Here enter details such as beneficiary name, aadhar name, father / husband name, gender, category, mobile number, type of kit, area type, district, block, village, pincode.
- You will also have to upload beneficiary image, beneficiary aadhaar image and then click at "Submit" button.
Tamil Nadu Nutritive Vegetable Garden Scheme 2022
To ensure residue-free vegetables, Chief Minister MK Stalin on 6 December 2021 (Monday) inaugurated the TN nutritive vegetable garden scheme aimed at producing fresh vegetables in both urban and rural areas.
Items in Terrace Garden Kits for Urban Beneficiaries
Under the Tamil Nadu nutritive vegetable garden scheme, a kit would be provided which includes:-
- 6 types of vegetable seeds
- 6 bags to grow vegetables
- 6 coconut coir pith each weighing 2 kg
- 400 grams high-quality fertilizers
- 200 grams of chemical fertilizers
- 100 ml of organic fertilizers
- A booklet containing methods of cultivation
All the mentioned items in each kit are worth Rs. 900 and would be distributed at a subsidized rate of Rs 225 for people in urban areas to set up a terrace garden. The state has allotted Rs. 6.75 crore for the distribution of the terrace garden kits.
Items in Vegetable Garden Kits for Rural Beneficiaries
To encourage people to set up vegetable gardens in rural areas, a kit would be provided which includes 12 vegetable seeds for Rs 15 per kit. Each beneficiary can receive two kits at a time and Rs. 90 lakh has been allotted for the scheme.
Under the nutritive vegetable garden scheme, Stalin also distributed packs containing eight plants with high nutritional values such as medicinal herbs, fruits, and vegetables. The state government has allotted Rs 1.5 crore for distributing the packs, which were priced at Rs. 25 each, with nutritional value and a family can get only one pack at a time.
