About Haryana Mukhyamantri Pragatisheel Kisan Samman Yojana 2024
Haryana Mukhyamantri Pragatisheel Kisan Samman Yojana 2024 aims to motivate the progressive farmers for adopting best agriculture practices. This will increase income of farmers from agriculture and allied sectors. Also Haryana progressive farmer reward scheme will enable farmers to make their contribution towards "Doubling of Farmers Income" by 2024 as initiated by Hon'ble Prime Minister.The recognition and honoring of progressive farmers will motivate them in achieving sustainable agriculture goals and also educate best agriculture practices to the fellow farmers. Under Mukhya Mantri Pragatisheel Kisan Samman Yojana 2024, selected farmers will be facilitated by providing cash prizes / awards for their outstanding work in Agriculture/allied sectors.
To motivate farmers for their contribution towards achieving high productivity of various agriculture crops as well as adoption of new technologies such as water saving, crop residue management, sustainable agriculture, organic farming and integrated farming system practices, it is proposed that cash prizes / awards may be given to the achiever farmers on yearly basis.
Structure of Awards in हरियाणा मुख्यमंत्री प्रगतिशील किसान सम्मान योजना
- Applicable for farmers having land holding ≥ 10 acre:
- Applicable for farmers having land holding from 5 to 10 acre: Total number of prizes will be 88 @ Rs. 50,000 each for 4 number of farmers per district.
- Applicable for farmers having <5 acre of land: Farmers who are having <5 acre of land and doing excellent work in agriculture / horticulture will also participate in the competition. They will be awarded @ Rs. 10,000 per acre to the maximum Rs. 50,000 per farmer. Total number of prizes in this category will be decided.
Selection Criteria for Mukhya Mantri Pragatisheel Kisan Samman Yojana
The farmers will be selected on the basis of adoption latest know how/ technique as well as achievement in agriculture and allied sectors. Following Point wise / intervention wise marking system will be followed in selection of awardee farmers.| Interventions | Maximum Scoring Points |

District Level Selection Committee
- Chairman - Deputy Commissioner
- Member - Deputy Director Animal Husbandry
- Member - District Horticulture Officer
- Member - District Fishery Officer
- Member - Coordinator, Krishi Vigyan Kendra
- Member - Deputy Director Agriculture
- 4 no. of Progressive Farmers from Agriculture and allied sector to be nominated by Deputy Commissioner. These progressive farmers will not be the part of competition.
All progressive farmers in the State will be identified and motivated to train further 10 no. of fellow farmers by educating them all required best agriculture practices for becoming a progressive farmer. Likewise, these newly trained progressive farmers will adopt the same practice and impart training to 10 more fellow farmers and turn them as progressive one.
This chain for making progressive farmer will continue year after year. The services of such farmers who are educating their fellow farmers for making them progressive will also be identified and rewarded depending upon their interest and services rendered.
State Level Selection Committee
Category wise recommendations of selected farmers for State level awards will be sent to the State level committee. The structure of the State level committee will be as under:- Chairman - Director General Agriculture and Farmers Welfare
