Odisha Go Sugam Portal registration 2024 / login has been started at sugam.odisha.gov.in. The state govt. schemes and subsidies are key for farmers to set up or expand their practices in the agriculture and allied sector. Delivery of these schemes & services is an aspect of governance that touches almost every farmer in the state multiple times in their lifetime. So, apply online for various schemes and services of fisheries, animal husbandry, APICOL, horticulture, agriculture department.

Sugam is India's 1st of its kind single window platform for farmers and agri-preneurs. Aligning with the Government of Odisha's 5T vision of governance, Sugam portal aims to transform the lives of farmers by leveraging technology and fostering teamwork among government officials to enable timely and transparent delivery of benefits to farmers. 

All farmer-centric schemes and services of the Fisheries & Animal Resource Development (F&ARD) department and the Department of Agriculture & Farmer Empowerment (DAFE), Government of Odisha are digitized on the Sugam Portal. It will also provide support to farmers for availing associated services of other departments such as electricity connection, water supply, and pollution clearance.

Government schemes enable farmers to avail financial subsidies or benefits in kind to set-up agricultural units. Schemes can be availed for setting-up of backyard, semi-commercial or commercial units involving seasonal crop farming, perennial crop farming, livestock rearing, and aquaculture.

  • Construction of Ponds for Brackish Water Aquaculture - The Scheme aims to promote construction of new ponds for Brackishwater Aquaculture. The unit cost is Rs 10.00 lakh per hactre with a provision of   40% subsidy to General Category and 60% to SC/ ST/ Woman Categories. 
  • Construction of Ponds for Freshwater Aquaculture - The Scheme aims to promote construction of new Freshwater Fish ponds for intensive fish farming . The unit cost is Rs 8.50 lakh per hactre with a provision of   40% subsidy to General Category and 60% to SC/ ST/ Woman Categories. 
  • Establishment of Machinery Banks for Custom Hiring - Farm Machinery Banks for Custom Hiring
  • Establishment of New Fruit and Flower Gardens in Compact Areas - Horticulture Program in Non-Mission District
  • Fishing Boat Registration Certificate and Fishing License issuance - The aim of the service is for registration of all fishing vessels desiring to undergo fishing as per Orissa Marine Fishing Regulation Act, 1982 
  • Issuance of Postmortem Reports and Insurance Documents for Insurance Claim of livestock - The aim of the scheme is to provide access to citizens to request Veterinary Officers for issue of Postmortem Reports of insured animals and related documents for settlement of insurance claims of livestock.
  • Layer Poultry Farming - The scheme aims to support  farmers for setting up Layer farms in cage system with a capacity of 1000 birds per unit. The unit cost is Rs 7.59 lakh with s provision of 40% subsidy.
  • Mini Poultry Feed Mill - This scheme aims to support  small entrepreneurs  for establishment  mini poultry feed mill. The unit cost is Rs 2.80  lakh with provision of 50% subsidy.
  • Mukhyamantri Krushi Udyoga Yojana (MKUY)
  • National Food Security Mission (NFSM) - Support for Cultivation and Expansion of Oil Palm

  • Registration of boilers
  • Registration of New Brackish Water Fish Farms and Hatcheries - The aim of the service is for  registration of shrimp farms on the recommendations of the State and District Level Committees to Coastal Aquaculture Authority.  It is mandatory that all persons carrying on coastal aquaculture shall register their farm with the Coastal Aquaculture Authority.  Registration is made for a period of five (5) years, which can be renewed further.

  • Renewal of Registration of Brackish Water Fish Farms and Hatcheries - The aim of the service is for renewal of the Registration Cerificate issued by Coastal Aquaculture Authority   before completion of 05 (five) Year from the date of issue Registration Certificate 
  • Semi-Commercial Duck Farming - The scheme aims to support small entrepreneurs for setting up of Duck farms with a capacity of 1000 ducks. The unit cost is Rs 3.75 lakh per unit with a provision of 40% subsidy
  • Semi-Commercial Pig Farming - The scheme aims to support small entrepreneurs for setting up of pig farms with a capacity of 11 piglets (10 female + 1 male) per unit. The unit cost is Rs 4.00 lakh with a provision of 40% subsidy.
  • Setting up of Biofloc Aquaculture System - The Scheme aims to promote construction of new Biofloc  units  for to promote sustainable intensification of the freshwater fish and brackish water shrimp farming in a limited area. The unit cost is  from Rs 1.5 lakh to 50lakh with a provision of   40% subsidy to General Category and 60% to SC/ ST/ Woman Categories. 
  • Small Scale Poultry Hatchery - The scheme aims to support farmers for establishment of a Small scale poultry hatchery unit with 7,500 capacity for producing day old chicks. The unit cost is Rs 6.60 lakh with provision of 40% subsidy. 
  • Subsidy for Construction of Shallow Tubewells or Borewells on Farm Lands
  • DBT on Jalanidhi (Shallow tube & Borewell) scheme of Agriculture Department

  • Subsidy for purchase of Fish Transport Vehicles - The Scheme aims to provide assistance to  Fish farmers/Fishers for procurement of  Fish transport vehicle for transportation of fish from sources of production to market [places/ consumers is highly essential to maintain quality of fish with a provision of   40% subsidy to General Category and 60% to SC/ ST/ Woman Categories. 
  • Subsidy for purchase of Fisheries Machinery/Equipment - The Scheme aims to provide assistance to  Fish farmer / Fishers for procurement of Fisheries Implements like Aerators, Air Blowers with aero-tubes, bio-security nets, fishing nets for enhancing the aquaculture production with a provision of   40% subsidy . 
  • Subsidy for purchase of Fishing Boat, Engine & Fishing Net - The Scheme aims to provide assistance to Marine Fishers for procurement of  New Boat, Engine & Net”  with a provision of   40% subsidy to General Category and 60% to SC/ ST/ Woman Categories.

Status Tracking: 

Applicants can track the real-time status of their applications on the portal or the app using their mobile number. They will know exactly who is responsible for processing the next stage of their application.

Proactive Status Notification:
