PM Shri Scheme in Union Budget 2024-2025

On 1 February 2024, Finance minister presented Interim Union Budget 2024-25 in which she said "Our prosperity depends on adequately equipping and empowering the youth. The National Education Policy 2020 is ushering in transformational reforms. PM ScHools for Rising India (PM SHRI) are delivering quality teaching, and nurturing holistic and well-rounded individuals".

PM SHRI Yojana Portal

PM School for Rising India (full form) or PM SHRI School Yojana (in general) is a centrally sponsored scheme by central government of India. PM Shri Yojana aims to develop more than 14,500 PM SHRI schools managed by central/state/UT govt, local bodies including KVS and NVS. PM Shri Yojana Portal has been launched and is functional at pmshrischools.education.gov.in

• First of all, go to official website of PM Shri Yojana at https://pmshrischools.education.gov.in/

• Once you reach homepage, click at "Login for National, State, District User" tab under "Login" section.

• You can also directly click https://pmshrischools.education.gov.in/user/login to make PM Shri Yojana login as national, state, district user. 
• Then PM Shri Portal login page will open.

• Enter mobile number and click "Send OTP" button to make PM Shri School Yojana login as national, state, district level user.

PM Shri Yojana School Login (for School Users)

• First of all, go to official website of PM Shri Yojana at https://pmshrischools.education.gov.in/

• Once you reach homepage, click at "Login for School User" tab under "Login" section.

• You can also directly click at https://pmshrischools.education.gov.in/school/login to make 

• Enter UDISE code, mobile number of HM and click "Send OTP" to make PM Shri Yojana school login.

About PM Shri School Yojana 2024 

PM Shri School Scheme is proposed to be implemented over a period of 5 years w.e.f. 2022-23 to 2026-27. In the PM Shri school, each student feels:-

• A wide range of learning experiences are offered, 
• Good physical infrastructure 
• Appropriate resources conducive to learning

Schools in PM Shri Yojana to follow NEP 2020 

PM Shri School scheme will nurture students in a way that they become engaged, productive, and contributing citizens for building an equitable, inclusive and plural society as envisaged by the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020).

More than 20 lakh students are expected to be the direct beneficiaries of the PM Shri School Yojana. The scheme will also promote understanding of various dimensions of Quality of school education and inform Policy, Practice and Implementation.
