While addressing a public gathering, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the Yuva Nidhi yojana will be implemented soon for unemployed youths. He stated that all unemployed youths will be given unemployment allowance as per their degree. Sh. Rahul Gandhi also announced to give 1 lakh employment opportunities to the youths of Karnataka. Along with new employment officers, 2.5 lakh old government posts will be filled again. Apart from this, Rahul Gandhi has also made promised to help the old women and poor families of Karnataka state.

Unemployment Allowance Amount under Yuva Nidhi Scheme 

Under Yuva Nidhi Scheme, unemployment allowance will be given to the youth of Karnataka according to their education qualification as mentioned here:-
  • Rs. 3000 per month for unemployed graduate (who have bachelor's degree)
  • Rs. 1500 per month for unemployed diploma holders.
The government of Karnataka will create 10 lakh jobs for unemployed youths along with filling 2.5 lakh government posts with deserving youth of the Karnataka state.

Eligibility criteria of Yuva Nidhi Yojana

  • Applicant youth must be permanent citizen of Karnataka state.
  • Candidate must be unemployed.
