AP state govt. through Andhra Pradesh Non Resident Telugu Society is offering 50% premium subsidy on insurance scheme for Telugus living abroad. Non-Resident Telugus and their family members can enrol themselves under the Pravasandhra Bharosa Bima from 26 December 2023 to 15 January 2024.

AP Pravasandhra Bharosa Bima Scheme - How to Apply Online
- First of all, visit the official website https://www.apnrts.ap.gov.in/
- At the homepage, go to "Services" section in the main menu and click at the "Insurance" link.

- Upon clicking the link, the page showing APNRTS Insurance Scheme (Pravasandhra Bharosa Bima) details will open.
- At this page, hit at "Click here for Enrolment/ Registration" tab to open Pravasandhra Bharosa Bima online application form.
- Fill in all the details asked in APNRTS Insurance Scheme online application form and submit it to complete the registration process.
Check AP NRTS Insurance Scheme Payment Status

- At the homepage, go to "Services" section in the main menu and click at the "Insurance" link.

- Upon clicking the link, the page showing APNRTS Insurance Scheme (Pravasandhra Bharosa Bima) details will open.
- At this page, hit at "Check Payment Status" tab to open page where you can check Pravasandhra Bharosa Bima status.
- At this page, you can APNRTS insurance payment status using your passport number.
APNRTS Insurance Scheme (PBB) Notification 2023-2024
As per new AP NRTS Insurance Notification, "Employees, Migrant Workers, drivers, housemaids, helpers and others working in various fields can enroll for Pravasandhra Bharosa Bima at Rs. 275 with coverage for 3 years. NRT students can enroll for free with coverage for 1 year".
AP govt. will cover 50% of the employee PBB premium (earlier Rs. 550 for 3 years) and 100% of the student premium (previously Rs. 180 for 1 year) considering the security of NRTs and their family members.
Pravasandhra Bharosa Bima Benefits For Employees
- Age limit between 18 to 60 yrs
- Enrolment Fee Rs. 550/- for 3 years. As per new notification, 50% subsidy is given which means Rs. 275 is the new enrollment fee.
- Rs. 10 Lakhs for Accidental Death/Permanent Disability (only Insured person).
- In case of accidental death/permanent disability, one-way Economy Air ticket along with one attendant.
- Up to Rs. 1 Lakh for Medical expenses of injuries or sickness.
- In case of non-continuation of work due to sickness/accidental injury, one-way Economy Air ticket along with one attendant.
- Up to Rs. 35,000/- for Normal delivery and Up to Rs.50,000/- towards Caesarean delivery for women. Note : To claim maternity benefit, there should be a minimum time gap of 9 months from policy effective date (Bond issued date).
- Rs. 50,000/- towards medical expenses per year to the Nominated family member (Hospitalised) of the deceased till the policy is in force.
- Rs. 45,000/- towards legal fees for employment litigation to the individual.
AP NRTS Insurance Scheme Benefits For Students
- Age limit between 18 to 60 yrs
- Enrolment Fee Rs. 180/- for 1 year. As per new notification, 100% subsidy is given which means insurance premium is NIL for students.
- Rs. 10 Lakhs for Accidental Death/Permanent Disability.
- In case of accidental death/permanent disability, one-way Economy Air ticket along with one attendant.
- Up to Rs. 1 Lakh for Medical expenses of injuries or sickness.
- In case of non-continuation of studies due to sickness/accidental injury, one-way Economy Air ticket along with one attendant.
