Odisha Higher Education Department is inviting Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana 2024 online registration form at scholarship.odisha.gov.in. Any student in Odisha state who is pursuing either general or technical or professional courses can apply online for the scholarship. 

The new Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana encapsulates 3 erstwhile scholarship schemes namely:-

• e-Medhabruti
• Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana (GSSY) and 
• Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti

Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana in Odisha Budget 2024-25

On 25th July 2024, Finance Minister presented Odisha Budget 2024-25 in which he said "I propose to allocate Rs. 701 crore under the scheme 'Mukhya Mantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahana Yojana' to provide scholarship to eligible undergraduate and postgraduate students and students pursuing technical and professional courses. Laptops will be distributed to meritorious students under the scheme 'Godabarisha Vidyarthi Protsahana Yojana' for which an allocation of Rs. 54 crore is proposed.

Odisha Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana 2024 Online Registration Form

• First of all, you can go to Odisha State Scholarship Portal - scholarship.odisha.gov.in/website/home
• If you are a new user to this Scholarship portal, i.e, (https://scholarship.odisha.gov.in), click "Registration" link. 

• Upon clicking registration link, page for making one time online registration for Mukhyamantri Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana will open.

• Agree to the conditions and click "Proceed" to open Odisha Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana Online Application Form 2024.

• On making registration through the Aadhaar number and OTP will come to the mobile number linked with that Aadhaar number. Existing user can click on the login button directly. In case, one does not have an Aadhaar number, he/she should visit the nearest Aadhaar enrolment centre for enrolment of Aadhaar.
• Check the mobile (i.e., linked with the Aadhaar number) or email to get the user ID and password. In case, mobile number is not linked with Aadhaar number, students should visit nearest Aadhaar enrolment centre to link the mobile with the Aadhaar number.
• Click "login" link at the scholarship.odisha.gov.in portal to make Odisha Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana - Higher Education Login.

• For making login, enter Unique ID (received through SMS/mail)/ Aadhaar Number and password created during the registration to apply the scholarship.
• Select Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana from the drop down list of scholarships. 
• Then at the opened page, provide all necessary details like personal, academic, eligibility and bank information. 
• Then Click on the "Save as draft" button to save the draft information or click on “Next” button to save and proceed further in the scholarship form.
• At the end the preview of the completed form will appear on the page before final submission. Proceed to submit if all the data entered are correct. A congratulation message will appear in the page after final submission.
• Take a printout of the submitted form and keep it for any future reference.

The filled in application will be processed for verification and disbursement by the concerned officer. Assistance on being disbursed by the disbursing authority will automatically get updated in the State Scholarship Portal for information of all stakeholders.
