Scheme to provide Cashless Health Facility for Haryana govt employees is now extended. Now all the regular government employees are covered under Comprehensive Cashless Health Insurance Scheme (CCHIS). The new cashless medical policy aims to reduce out-of-pocket health expenditure of state employees. Cashless Health Facility for Govt Employees in Haryana Budget 2024-25 

On 23rd Feb 2024, Finance Minister presented Haryana Budget 2024-25. While delivering the budget speech, FM said "The Cashless Health Facility for Government employees was launched for the employees of two departments on a trial basis in 2023. It has now been extended to all regular Government employees from 1st January 2024. The main objective of the scheme is to reduce out of pocket healthcare expenditure of the employees". 

FM added "As of now 556 empanelled hospitals have been onboarded, and 1340 treatment packages have been integrated on the scheme portal. This satisfies a long pending demand of Government employees and will provide significant relief in meeting healthcare costs of their family".

About Cashless Medical Facility for Haryana Govt Employees

The state govt had initiated the scheme on pilot basis, initially covering employees from fisheries and horticulture departments, offering cashless healthcare facilities starting 1 November 2023. Now the coverage has been expanded to include all regular government employees and the entire expenditure under the scheme will be borne by the state government.

Implementation of Cashless Medical Policy for Haryana Govt Employees  

Implementation of Haryana CCHIS scheme is carried out through Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority (State Health Authority). All beneficiaries will greatly benefit from this scheme as the procedures listed under it will be completely cashless. Even the hospitals will get their claims approved from a single platform within a specified time frame. The scheme will provide more efficient, seamless, hassle-free and time-bound services to the beneficiaries and other stakeholders.

Diseases Covered under Comprehensive Cashless Health Insurance Scheme

Cashless Health Facility for Haryana Govt Employees not only covers six life-threatening emergencies, that is cardiac emergency, cerebral hemorrhage, coma, electric shock, third and fourth stage cancer, and any kind of accidents as per the existing provisions, but it also covers all types of indoor treatments/ daycare procedures, catering to the healthcare needs.

Hospitals Empanelled under Haryana CCHIS Scheme

Health services under Haryana CCHIS Scheme shall be available to the beneficiaries in all the hospitals empanelled with Director General of Health Services.

Issuance of E-Card / CCHF Card

E-card or CCHF card will be issued to all the beneficiaries to avail benefits under Cahless Health Facility for Haryana Govt Employees scheme. The beneficiaries can avail benefits using payee code, Aadhaar number or Parivar Pehchan Patra (family ID) number.
