Mukhyamantri Bal Samwardhan Yojana Announcement in Haryana Budget 2024-25

Haryana government has launched Mukhyamantri Bal Samwardhan Yojana for welfare of malnourished children. Under this scheme, the state govt. will focus on reducing the incidence of stunting, wasting and underweight amongst children in the age group of upto 6 years. Govt. will also provide nutrition support for those identified children who are severely malnourished or malnourished on the basis of data in Bal Samwardhan portal. Mukhyamantri Bal Samwardhan Yojana in Haryana Budget 2024-25

On 23rd Feb 2024, Finance Minister presented Haryana Budget 2024-25. While delivering the budget speech, FM said "In 2023-24, I had set a target to reduce the incidence of stunting, wasting and underweight amongst children in the age group of up to 6 years by 50 percent in the next 3 years. The National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5) data for Haryana reports that 27.5 percent of children in the age group of up to 5 years are stunted, 11.5 percent are wasted and 21.5 percent are underweight. As part of implementation strategy and to eliminate malnourishment, the Bal Samwardhan portal was launched last year in which mapping has been done for 13.73 lakh children out of 21 lakh children. I propose to provide additional nutrition support for those identified children who are severely malnourished or malnourished on the basis of data in Bal Samwardhan". 

FM added "Details of the Mukhyamantri Bal Samwardhan Yojana in this regard shall be notified separately".

• He/she must be either stunted or wasted or underweight.

How to Apply Online for Mukhyamantri Bal Samvardhan Yojana

• First of all, visit the official website of Haryana Mukhyamantri Bal Samwardhan Yojana.
• On the homepage, click at "Apply" link.
• Upon clicking the link, the Mukhyamantri Bal Samwardhan Yojana online registration form will open.
• Fill in the asked details accurately and upload necessary documents as mentioned above.
• Review your filled in information in the application form through online mode.
• Finally, click on the "Submit" button to send your application to the concerned authorities for approval.

Once approval of application is done, eligible applicants will be selected and then they will start getting Mukhyamantri Bal Samwardhan Yojana benefits.
