About Punjab Young Entrepreneur Programme 2024
Punjab Young Entrepreneur Programme is a start-up programme where class 11th students would be encouraged to propose their original business ideas, which would be supported by the Government by providing seed money @ ₹2000 per student. This programme is aimed to instill financial and leadership skills in the students, which would equip them to take charge of their careers later in their life.
Business Blaster Young Entrepreneur Scheme in Punjab Budget 2024-25
On 5th March 2024, Finance Minister presented Punjab Budget 2024-25. While delivering the budget speech, FM said that our government would continue
to support the existing educational schemes. The proposed allocations are
outlined below:-
- Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan: ₹1,593 crore;
- For providing Mid-Day Meal to 16.35 lakh students: ₹467 crore;
- For free books, repair and maintenance of schools: ₹140 crore;
- For upgradation of infrastructure and installation of roof-top solar panels in Government Schools: ₹160 crore;
- Financial Support for Upkeep of Government Schools: ₹82 crore;
- For providing uniforms to pre-primary students: ₹35 crore; and
- Punjab Young Entrepreneur Programme: ₹15 crore.
Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Young Entrepreneur Scheme
- Applicant should be a permanent resident of Punjab state.
- Applicant must be studying in govt. school of PB state.
- He / she must be a student of class 11th.
- Applicant must have new / original idea for their startups.

- First of all, visit the official website of Punjab Young Entreprneur Scheme.
- On the homepage, click at "Apply" link.
- Upon clicking the link, the Punjab Business Blaster Young Entrepreneur Scheme online registration form will open.
- Fill in the asked details accurately and upload necessary documents as mentioned above.
- Review your filled in information in the application form through online mode.
- Finally, click on the "Submit" button to send your application to the concerned authorities for approval.

Need for Punjab Young Entrepreneur Scheme

The state govt. believes that entrepreneurial skill is the main pillar of strength of Punjabi society. On this strong foundation, Punjab intends to march forward.
