CM A Revanth Reddy has directed the officials to come out with new scheme for welfare of handloom and powerloom weavers. About Nethanna Bharosa Scheme 2024

On 6th April 2024, CM Revanth Reddy has announced to started Nethanna Bharosa scheme. This new scheme would replace the previous Nethanna Bima Scheme launched by former CM KCR. The Nethanna Bharosa Yojana would provide financial support to the families of handloom and poweloom weavers.

Nethanna Bharosa Scheme Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of the Telangana state.
• The applicant should be either a handloom weaver or powerloom weaver engaged in weaving and eking their livelihood from weaving, and who are present in the departmental database.
• The applicant is required to be affiliated and registered with the weavers association.
• The family of the applicant should own a handloom or powerloom.
• One weaver family shall be eligible for only one benefit, irrespective of the number of looms owned by them.
• The weaver family shall belong to the Below the Poverty Line category.
