Gujarat govt. is inviting Vahali Dikri Yojana Online Application / Registration Form 2024 through online or offline mode, all the girls whose parental annual income is less than Rs. 2 lakh can apply for education incentive along with 1,00,000 assistance for wedding or higher education under Vahli Dikari Yojna.
Under this Vahli Dikri Yojana 2024, govt. will provide education incentives and Rs. 1 lakh to first and second daughters of poor families. The state govt. has allocated Rs. 252 crore for Vahali Dikri Scheme for the year 2024-2025.
This Rs. 1 lakh assistance amount would be provided to the girls on attaining the age of 18 years. Finance Minister presented Gujarat Budget 2024-2025 on 2 February 2024. FM said that the state govt. has made a provision of Rs. 252 crore for providing assistance under Vhali Dikari Yojana.

Gujarat Vahali Dikri Yojana 2024 Amount
The amount which the Gujarat state govt. will provide to 1st and 2nd daughters of family would be given in the manner as given below:-

Vhali Dikri Yojana Salient Features
The objective of Vhali Dikri Yojana is to improve the sex ratio in the state, to increase the education of girls so that more and more girls are educated. The objective of financial assistance to parents of girls is to reduce female feticide and reduce the school dropout rate of girls to zero. Some additional details about this scheme are as follows:-- The Vahli Dikari scheme is fully funded by the government.
- Interested beneficiaries can apply for the scheme through offline mode or online mode.
- Applications for the scheme can be used in both cases.
- An amount of Rs 1,00,000 will be given to the parents of the girl child.
- This amount is provided at intervals mentioned in three installments.
- The amount is registered by direct transfer to the bank account registered under the scheme and not by the method of the cheque.

- Domicile certificate
- Birth certificate of the girl child
- Income certificate
- Bank account passbook
- Identity proof of the girl's parents.
- And any other documents.
Gujarat Vahali Dikri Yojana Eligibility Criteria
Gujarat Vhali Dikari Yojna will improve birth rate of girls and is going to strengthen the socio-economic status of girls in the society. Applicants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to become eligible for Vahali Dikri Yojana:-- Only those applicants who are a permanent resident of Gujarat state are applicable.
- This scheme is open to only first 2 girls from a family.
- All the applicant girls must belong to a poor family and annual income of their family must not exceed Rs. 2 lakh.
- Candidate must have valid bank account because assistance amount will be transferred to bank account linked with aadhar card
- The scheme is open to all categories of girls and not only for reserved categories but also for general. Further, no special qualification is required to avail of this scheme.
Vahli Dikri Yojana is a first-of-its-kind initiative for daughters of poor families in Gujarat state.

Vhali Dikri Yojana in Gujarat Budget 2023-24
Finance Minister presented Gujarat Budget 2023-24 on 24 February 2023 in which he said "A provision of Rs. 150 crore to provide subvention under Vhali Dikri Yojana".Vahali Dikri Yojana is going to prevent female foeticide, promote girl's education & provide a substantial amount to fund higher education and wedding of girls.
