Shri Vajpayee Bankable Yojana in Gujarat Budget 2024-2025

Finance Minister presented Gujarat Budget 2024-2025 on 2 February 2024. FM has made a provision of Rs. 262 crore for providing credit and subsidy assistance to 42 thousand beneficiaries under "Shri Vajpayee Bankable Yojana.

• Scroll over "Bankable Loan Registration" link, it will show "Log In" and "Register" links.

• Click at "Register" link to make Bankable Loan citizen registration.

• Then Vajpayee Bankable portal online registration form will open.

• Enter name, email ID, password, captcha and click "Register" button to complete Vajpayee Bankable scheme registration process.
• Next you can click at "Login" button to open Vajpayee Bankable portal login page.

• Enter registered mobile number or email, password, captcha and click "Login" button to make VBY login.

About Shri Vajpayee Bankable Yojana

Vajpayee Bankable Yojana is a scheme to provide financial assistance to the craftsmen of Cottage Industries through Nationalised Banks, Co-operative banks, Public sector Banks or Private Banks. The new Shri Vajpayee Bankable scheme aims to supply self-employment to the unemployed persons in urban and rural areas. Disabled and blind persons are also eligible to take benefits under this VBY scheme.

Eligibility Criteria of Vajpayee Bankable Scheme

• Age limit: 18 to 65 Years.
• Qualification: The applicant should have passed minimum standard fourth OR, Training/ Experience: Should have undergone training for minimum three months from private establishment or minimum one month from Government recognized Institutes, in the area of the proposed business or should have experience of minimum 1 year in the same activity or should be hereditary craftsperson.
• Income Criteria: There is no Income criteria specified to get VBY scheme benefits.

Maximum Limit for Bank Loan in VBY Gujarat

• Industries sector - Rs. 8 lakh
• Service sector - Rs. 8 lakh
• Business sector - Rs. 8 lakh

Rate of Subsidy on Loan Amount in Vajpayee Bankable Yojana

Subsidy will be available in Vajpayee Bankable Yojana as mentioned below for Industries, Service & Business sector.
