Now a days, a false propaganda is being spread everywhere in which it is told that central govt. has launched PM Modi Scooty Scheme 2024. But this is completely fake news and there is no such announcement by the union govt. of India to provide scooters on subsidy to women. A photo (as above) is being shown to support this false claim but that was the launch of another sarkari yojana in Tamil Nadu.
The photo which is being shown to support the PM Modi Scooty Scheme 2024 is of PM Modi but it was taken during the launch of Amma Two Wheeler Scheme in Tamil Nadu in the year 2018. In the Tamilnadu state, the state govt. has invited PM Modi to launch its flagship Amma 2 wheeler scheme. In that scheme, PM Modi handed over keys to 5 women to mark the launch of that scheme.
Some videos are also showing false narrative and have declared their own "Kanya Scooter Yojana" forms which are wrong. There is no such form available and even if people fills that form, then it is of no use. So remain aware and do not fall into trap of such persons.
This scheme was launched in Tamilnadu state to realize the vision of former CM J. Jayalalithaa. In this Amma Scooter Scheme, govt. provided 50% subsidy or Rs. 25,000 for purchase of scooters / mopheds to women. For this scheme, scooty capacity must not exceed 125 cc. This scheme is also not functional now under current M.K Stalin led Tamil Nadu government.

As there is no such scheme like PM Modi Scooty Scheme 2024, there is no such form applicable to apply online.
Narendra Modi Scooter Scheme False Propoganda
- Some websites are showing that PM Modi Scooty Yojana online application forms are invited from 1 August 2023, this date is also false.
- Photo of PM Modi giving keys to women is of Amma 2 Wheeler Scheme of Tamil Nadu.
- Other false news is spreading that only 10th pass girls will get such free scooty which is not true.
- One girl in each family is given one scooty. This is absolutely wrong.
- Another false claim is that all these scooters would be given to those girls who lies in age group of 18 to 45 years and aadhar card is mandatory for online application. It is a mere fabrication of their own selves.
- Most importantly, it is shown that all state like Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Haryana among others would be included in this scheme. There is no such scheme and this is only an assumption.

- Women whose annual income is less than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
- Only 1 woman per family is eligible.
- Preference to be given to families run by women, widow, disabled women and transgenders.
