Rs. 6000 to Landless Families in Chhattisgarh State
It was announced that under CG Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhoomihin Krishi Majdoor Nyay Yojana, govt. will give assistance of Rs. 6000 per annum to landless families. CM announced that his government will launch this scheme as soon as possible after the modalities of scheme become final.Families not possessing agriculture land and dependent on agri labour or MGNREGA work (for livelihood) in rural areas will be eligible. Other sections of rural population such as barbers, dhobis (washermen), blacksmiths, priests would be covered also under the राजीव गाँधी ग्रामीण भूमिहीन कृषि मजदूर न्याय योजना.

Other Announcements Made by CM Bhupesh Baghel
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has claimed that "Central govt. had consented to buy 60 lakh MT of rice from the state but took only 24 lakh MT. As a result, Chhattisgarh state government had to auction the remaining stock of rice at a loss. Inspite of this, CG govt. is supporting farmers in every situation, even by taking loans".CM stated that lack of some facilities posed a challenge during the first and second wave of COVID-19. But CG govt. is making every possible effort to ensure availability of better medical facilities across the state. As a result, provision of Rs. 957 crore has been made for the Health department. During the 2nd wave, Chhattisgarh govt. not only did a good job of managing the situation but also supplied medical oxygen to other states.
CG govt. has made a provision of Rs. 39 crore for acquisition of private-run Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Medical College in Durg district. Chhattisgarh govt. tabled the Chhattisgarh Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Medical College, Durg (Acquisition) Bill, 2021, in the assembly. Discussion on the bill is yet to take place. Provision has been also made for the construction of a special jail with the capacity to house 1,500 prisoners at a cost of Rs. 126 crore at Nagoi village in Bilaspur district.
