The amount given under TS Shadi Mubarak Scheme will help to alleviate the financial distress of minority families. Telangana govt. will sanction one-time financial assistance of Rs. 1,00,116 at the time of marriage for brides who are residents of Telangana State. TS Shaadi Mubarak Scheme main motto is to help the minorities families for their bride's marriage. The eligible beneficiaries will get up to Rs. 100116 amount for the Bride’s marriage.

Shaadi Mubaarak Schemes have been introduced with effect from October 2, 2014, for unmarried girls, who have completed 18 years of age at the time of marriage and whose parental income does not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum.

Eligibility Criteria for Shadi Mubarak Scheme

Shaadi Mubarak scheme is applicable only to girls who are going to get married. 

• Applicant must be a resident girl of Telangana state.
• She must have completed 18 years of age.
• Bride must belong to minority community.
• Total annual income of the family of girl must not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum.

Telangana Shaadi Mubharak Scheme 2024 Amount

Telangana Shaadi Mubarak scheme was launched by the CM KCR on 2 October 2014. A provision of providing Rs. 51,000 to unmarried girls from minority families in the TS state was made. Then the financial assistance was increased to Rs. 75,116 to bride's family. On 19 March 2018, the financial aid was again increased to Rs. 1,00,116 to enable minorities to meet marriage expenses of their unmarried daughter after she completes 18 years of age and thus preventing child marriages. This scheme will also provide grant to muslims girls from poor families at the time of their wedding. 

How To Apply Online for Shadi Mubharak Scheme

Shaadi Mubarak is a welfare scheme for providing financial assistance for marriages by the Government of Telangana, a novel scheme for all poor people in the state. The scheme gives an assistance of ₹1,00,116, and is aimed at preventing child marriages and support marriage expense for financially distressed families.

• Applicant has to submit the filled in application form at the concerned MRO office for verification.
• MRO takes the approval of the concerned MLA.
• RDO releases the amount to the bank account of the bride's mother.
