Andhra Pradesh government has started AP Free Crop Insurance Scheme 2024. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial support to the farmers in the event of Crop loss due to any natural calamity, to restore the credit eligibility for the next season and to stabilize farm incomes. AP YSR crop insurance beneficiary list 2024 is now available at karshak.ap.gov.in. Any person can now check e crop insurance status at ekarshak portal. 

The new e - Crop portal will facilitate the beneficiaries for digital crop booking. YSR crop insurance status can be checked to ensure beneficiaries name is included in e-crop insurance beneficiary list. Read this article to know how to check AP crop insurance status through online mode. 

YSR Free Crop Insurance Scheme in AP Budget 2024-25

On 7 February 2024, Finance Minister presented Andhra Pradesh Vote on Account Budget 2024-2025. In the presented AP Budget 2024-25, FM said "Under Dr. YSR Free Crop Insurance, the government has settled claim amount of Rs.7,802 crore to 54.55 lakh farmers accounts. In comparison, the previous government had settled claims of only Rs. 3,411 crore for 30.85 lakh farmers".

FM added "Andhra Pradesh is the first and only state to achieve universal coverage of farmers under the Dr. YSR Free Crop Insurance scheme".

Eligibility Criteria for AP YSR Crop Insurance Scheme 

• Citizenship - Should be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh
• Crops Covered - All the notified crops in the notified areas as per Crop Insurance notification in the season.
• Farmers Covered - All the cultivators growing notified crops in the notified areas.
• Insurance - Aadhaar e-KYC is compulsory.
• Premium Subsidy Limit - There is no premium subsidy.

  

Check e Crop Insurance Status

Every beneficiary can check their e crop insurance status by clicking on the link - http://karshak.ap.gov.in/ekarshak/Rep_searchByKhSnoIntf.jsp. After you click that link, the page to search form for crop booking details by Khata and Survey number will get opened.

This page will ask for some information like crop year, district, mandal, village. You can search by either survey number or khata no. and finally click on "Submit" button to check your e crop insurance status.

Simply select the name of district, then mandal, then secretariat and you can then proceed to check your name online in YSR crop insurance beneficiary list. Only those people whose name is displayed in the opened e crop insurance beneficiary list will get financial assistance on damage of their crops.

• First of all, visit the official website https://egsws.ap.gov.in/reports1.aspx

• Select district, mandal, secretariat, cluster and then click "Crop Insurance" link.

• Select year and then click either "Eligible List" or "Rejected List" link.
• Next enter captcha and verify it to start downloading YSR Free Crop Insurance Scheme List of beneficiaries.
• In the opened YSR free crop insurance list, you can check details like scheme name, sachivalayam name, cluster ID, citizen name, UID, amount.

• First of all, you can go to karshak.ap.gov.in portal
• You will find a user login section at homepage.
• It will ask for your user name and password, enter it accordingly.
• Then enter text shown there and finally press "Login" button.
