Jharkhand government would soon invite Mukhyamantri Bahan Beti Swavalamban Yojana 2024 application form through village level camps. Under the मुख्यमंत्री बहन बेटी स्वावलंबन योजना, the state govt. will provide financial assistance to women in the age group of 21 to 49 years. 
"The government has decided to give financial assistance to all women aged 21-49. For this, camps will be organised for enrollment in the next four to five days at the village level. I would urge all to help women to fill their forms so that we can empower them and make them self-reliant," CM said. The state Cabinet had on 28 June 2024 approved the financial assistance scheme, which would benefit 45 lakh women of the state.
Under the scheme, named "Mukhya Mantri Bahan Beti Maiqui Swabalamban Protsahan Yojana", each woman will receive Rs. 1,000 per month. It will cost the state Rs. 5,500 crore per annum.

- Once details are filled, attach supporting documents with the completed form.

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren said on 22nd July 2024 (Monday) that his government would organise village-level camps to enrol women in the financial assistance scheme, under which Rs. 1,000 would be given per month. In the Jharkhand state, govt. will soon rollout cash transfer scheme for women on the similar lines of West Bengal's Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme. The scheme has been named as Mukhyamantri Bahan Beti Swabalamban Yojana. Former Chief Minister Champai Soren, during a review meeting of Women, Child Development and Social Security Department on 20 June 2024, said that financial assistance would be provided to poor and needy women of all categories in the age group of 21 to 49 years.

As the scheme guidelines are not out yet, so there is no confirmation on Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Behan Beti Swavalamban Yojana. However an official quoted that financial assistance of Rs. 1000 per month is to be given to women in the age group of 21-49 years under मुख्यमंत्री बहन बेटी स्वावलंबन योजना.

Impact of Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Behan Beti Swavalamban Yojana
Jharkhand government is committed to ensuring better education to the women, continuous improvement in their health and nutrition level, women empowerment and the decisive role of women in the family. CM directed the officials to make all preparations on a war footing so that benefits of the scheme could reach the eligible women within the stipulated time frame. In the meeting, the chief minister also directed the officials of the Information Technology Department to prepare a portal for the scheme as soon as possible.
The Jharkhand cabinet in January this year approved a proposal of including all women, tribals and Dalits above 50 in its old-age pension scheme. Earlier, those above 60 years used to get the benefits of the scheme, under which Rs. 1,000 is provided to each beneficiary per month.
It means that all the women above 50 years of age would now get Rs. 1000 pension under Jharkhand Old Age Pension Scheme. In addition to this, women those who are not receiving pension benefit would be covered under Mukhyamantri Bahan Beti Swavalamban Yojana. Subsequently, women in the age group of 21 to 49 years would also get Rs. 1000 assistance under मुख्यमंत्री बहन बेटी स्वावलंबन योजना.
