Uttarakhand government has made budgetary allocation of Rs. 500 cr for Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana. In recently presented UK budget speech 2024-25, FM announced to provide cashless treatment upto Rs. 5 lakh to needy people. After the implementation of AAUY scheme in Uttarakhand, all the families would be able to get paperless and hassle free treatment in govt. and empanelled private hospitals.   

At the time of implementation of AB PM-JAY in Uttarakhand, in order to bring equity of access to quality healthcare services to all their residents, State government of Uttarakhand had implemented Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana in the State. This had ensured that all the State beneficiaries get all the benefits that are availed by the SECC beneficiaries under AB PM-JAY scheme. AAUY scheme included all the unique features as that in PM-JAY. State has used same IT platform, guidelines, EHCPs, amount of coverage and health benefit packages as in PM-JAY. The implementation agency for the scheme too is the same (SHA & ISA).

Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana In Uttarakhand Budget 2024-25

Finance minister has presented Uttarakhand Budget 2024-25 on 27 February 2024. While delivering the Uttarakhand Budget Speech 2024-25, Finance Minister said "गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की अंतिम छोर तक पहुंच को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए उत्तराखण्ड के समस्त परिवारों को निःशुल्क एवं कैसलैश चिकित्सा उपचार देने के लिए सरकार द्वारा आयुष्मान भारत की तर्ज पर अटल आयुष्मान उत्तराखण्ड योजना लागू की गई है। योजनान्तर्गत वित्तीय वर्ष 2024-25 में लगभग रू० पाँच सौ करोड़ (रू0 500.00 करोड़) का प्रावधान किया जा रहा है।"

Finance Minister added "हमने अटल आयुष्मान योजना के अन्तर्गत इलाज के बिलों में फर्जीवाड़ा करने वाले निजी अस्पतालों के खिलाफ भी सख्त कार्यवाही की है।"

About Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana 2024 

Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana of UK state govt. is an extension of central govt's Ayushman Bharat Yojana (PM Jan Arogya Yojana). The union govt's AB-PMJAY scheme provide cashless treatment upto Rs. 5 lakh to around five lakh poor families in Uttarakhand. AAUY scheme has been launched to cover 5 lakh poor families and to include around 18 lakh more families who are not covered under AB-PMJAY scheme. 

Thus in the Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana, every family of Uttarakhand (around 23 lakh in number) would get free treatment in any empanelled hospital. In AAUY scheme, the state govt. provides health insurance cover upto Rs. 5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary care. There is no restriction on family size, age or gender. Moreover, hospitalization process has been made cashless and paperless.

How to Make Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana Registration

Steps for making Golden Card under Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojna by Social Economic Caste Census 2011 are as follows:-

• Visit official Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana website at https://bis.pmjay.gov.in/BIS
• Login with registered mobile number, enter the captcha and submit for Generate OTP.
• Please enter received OTP on registered mobile and in registered email, click on verify OTP and agree for terms and data policy. If OTP is not received, please select regenerate OTP.
• After successful login a Home page will open.
• Please select "Search Beneficiary", auto select Uttarakhand State and select by SECC Name.
• Options will open for search beneficiary and a form to fill about beneficiary details.
• Fill the details and click for search, fill the more details available for more refine search. Portal will show details after, when search result will 5 or less.
• When search result is less 5, it shows the beneficiary details.
• Select "Collect KYC" in correct beneficiary. A window will open, copy the Family ID.
• Select "Search Beneficiary" again. Select HH ID Number option in Search Parameters.
• Click on "Collect KYC" for available beneficiary from searched family. A new window will open, if window will not open.please check popup and allow it.
• Enter Mobile No. and select Beneficiary type. If Self option selected it generate OTP. Enter OTP and select the "Verify OTP" for mobile number verification.
• After mobile verification select ID type "Aadhaar or Non Aadhaar". Select the Aadhaaroption, agree for Aadhaar consent and click on proceed.
• Select Authentication type available "Finger Print or IRIS".
• Enter the Aadhhar number or Virtual Id of beneficiary. Select the "Capture Biometric" for fetching the personal details. Fill the blank fields as required and select NEXT.
• Fill the family details. Select family ID Type (Ration Card, Parivar Register ,Government certified list of members or an alternative family ID is required to validate against the Name / Family details (father’s name, mother’s name) available in the system.), enter the ID number and select "Check documents details".
• Upload the selected document photo in JPEG, PNG,JPG format under file size 200KB. Enter the other family members and select "Submit Family Details".
• Click on "SUBMIT" for sending the details to State Approver team for Approval.
• Go to "Approved Beneficiaries", select Home State, select submission date , it will show approved beneficiaries list. Click on "Print Card" option and get "GOLDEN CARD".

Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana In Uttarakhand Budget 2023-24

Finance minister has presented Uttarakhand Budget 2023-24 on 15 March 2023. While delivering the Uttarakhand Budget Speech 2023-24, Finance Minister said "अध्यक्ष जी, उत्तराखण्ड देश का पहला राज्य हैं, जहाँ प्रत्येक परिवार को कैंसलेश अथवा निःशुल्क उपचार सेवाओं का लाभ की अनुमन्यता है। राज्य के समस्त परिवारों को उपचार के दौरान अस्पताल में भर्ती होने पर प्रतिवर्ष प्रति परिवार रू. 5 लाख तक का निःशुल्क एवं कैशलेश उपचार के लिए अटल आयुष्मान उत्तराखण्ड योजना संचालित हो रही हैं। अटल आयुष्मान उत्तराखण्ड योजना में रू. चार सौ करोड़ (रू. 400.00 करोड़) का प्रावधान किया गया है।".
