Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana Installment Update
On 28th Feb 2024, PM Modi has credited 2nd and 3rd installment of Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana. For this purpose, Prime Minister has credited Rs. 3800 crore to benefit around 88 lakh farmers in Maharashtra. It was already decided that by the end of Feb 2024, Rs. 2000 per farmer would be deposited into bank accounts through direct benefit transfer (DBT) mode. Second installment is from August 2023 to November 2023 while Third installment is from December 2023 to March 2024.
Earlier on 22 Feb 2024, Maharashtra govt. had approved Rs. 1792 crore to be distributed as 2nd installment of Namo Shetkari Yojana. Around 88 lakh farmers to get benefit from this move. In the first installment from April to July 2023, Rs. 1720 cr were disbursed directly into accounts of 86 lakh farmers in the state.

- Track Namo Shetkari Yojna Status using mobile number - By default, search by mobile number is selected.
- Enter mobile number, captcha and click at "Get Data" button to check Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana beneficiary status using mobile no.
- Track Namo Shetkari Yojna Status using registration number - Also you can search Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi Yojana status using reg. no. by clicking at radio button in front of "Registration number".

What is Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi Yojana 2024
On the lines of central govt's PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Maharashtra state govt. has launched its own Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana. Just like farmers gets Rs. 6000 in PM Kisan Scheme, now the farmers of Maharashtra will get an additional amount of Rs. 6000 per annum under Namo Shetkari Yojana. Each registered farmer will get 3 equal installments of Rs. 4000 in an year (total 12000 p.a).
For increasing the income of the Annadata Baliraja, Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojna has been started to supplement the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Samman Nidhi Yojana, conceived by the Hon'ble Prime Minister, with grants from the State. The State government will provide an additional amount of Rs. 6000 along with Rs. 6000 per farmer per year from the central government. In this way, an amount of Rs. 12,000 will be deposited in the farmer's account every year. This will benefit 1.15 crores farmer families. For this, an outlay of Rs. 6900 crores is proposed for the year 2023-2024".

Namo Shetkari Yojana in Maharashtra Budget 2023-24
Finance minister has presented Maharashtra Budget 2023-24 on 9 March 2023. In probably the biggest package for farmers in the recent past, deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, who also holds the finance portfolio, allocated around Rs. 30,000 crore towards sustainable farming and prosperous schemes such as Rs. 12,000 honorarium per annum to all the farmers under the Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi. In his budget speech in the assembly, Fadnavis said that the state government will also dole out a certain amount towards crop insurance to the farmers besides huge debt incentives to paddy growers and farmers who have opted for short-loans.
Under the honorarium scheme, the state government will provide an additional amount of Rs. 6000 along with Rs. 6,000 per farmer per year from the central government. "In this way, an amount of Rs. 12,000 will be deposited in the farmer's account every year. This will benefit 1.15 crore farmer families. For this, an outlay of Rs. 6,900 crores is proposed in 2023-24," Fadnavis said in his budget speech in the state assembly.

Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana Apply Online
The new Namo shetkari maha samman nidhi yojana 2024 is applicable to all PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana beneficiaries of Maharashtra state. If you are a beneficiary of PM Kisan Scheme, then you are not required to separately apply online for namo shetkari yojana. However, if you are not a beneficiary of PM Kisan scheme, then you can apply for inclusion of name in namo shetkari yojana beneficiary list.
For this purpose, you will have to make registration at https://pmkisan.gov.in/ portal which is also the namo shetkari yojana official website.
Exclusion in Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana
If you become a beneficiary of PM Kisan yojana, then your name would automatically get included in the Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana list of beneficiaries. The following categories of beneficiaries of higher economic status shall not be eligible for benefit under the scheme.
- All Institutional Land holders.
- Farmer families which belong to one or more of the following categories:
- Former and present holders of constitutional posts
- Former and present Ministers/ State Ministers and former/present Members of LokSabha/ RajyaSabha/ State Legislative Assemblies/ State Legislative Councils,former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.
- All serving or retired officers and employees of Central/ State Government Ministries/Offices/Departments and its field units Central or State PSEs and Attached offices/Autonomous Institutions under Government as well as regular employees of the Local Bodies (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff /Class IV/Group D employees)
- All superannuated/retired pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs.10,000/-or more (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees) of above category
- All Persons who paid Income Tax in last assessment year
- Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with Professional bodies and carrying out profession by undertaking practices.
