West Bengal government has started Karma Sathi Parijayee Shramik online apply process at karmasathips.wblabour.gov.in. Also, facility of downloading WB Karma Sathi Parijayee Shramik Form PDF in both Bengali and English languages is available. The new scheme has been designed for resolution of problems faced by migrant workers during their course of employment outside the state of West Bengal.
WB Karmasathi Parijayee Shramik Scheme would also provide various assistance to migrant workers as decided from time to time. Assistance include financial compensation on account of death, severe accidental injury and other assistance to mitigate issues related to wage, abuse, trafficking or exigencies like natural calamities and pandemic situation.

WB Karma Sathi Parijayee Shramik Online Apply Process
- First of all, go to the official Karmasathi Parijayee Shramik portal at https://karmasathips.wblabour.gov.in/
- At the homepage, scroll over the "Sign Up" icon present on the top right section of the page.
- Then you will see option of "Applicant Sign Up", click it.
- Then Karma Sathi Parijayee Shramik Scheme registration page for users will get displayed on your screen as shown below:-
- Enter mobile number and click "Generate OTP" button. Once you receive OTP on your mobile number, enter it and click "Validate" button.
- Next enter name, aadhaar number, father's / husband's name and click "Sign Up" tab to complete Karma Sathi Parijayi Shramik registration process.
- Once registration process is complete, you can make login using the "Login" tab present in the main menu of the Karmasathi Parijayee Shramik portal.
Karmasathi Parijayee Shramik in West Bengal Budget 2024-25
On 8th Feb 2024, Finance Minister presented WB Budget 2024-25 in which FM said "In order to ensure welfare for migrant workers working outside the State and outside the Country and to secure for them benefits that would lead to improved living conditions, the State Government rolled out West Bengal Migrant Workers' Welfare Scheme, 2023. During the Statewide mobilization drives in Duare Sarkar Camps, about 28 lakh migrant workers have so far been registered through the Karmasathi Parijayee Shramik Portal".
FM added that West Bengal Migrant Workers Welfare Board has been constituted to address unique vulnerabilities of migrant workers of the State and implement its new scheme ‘West Bengal Migrant Workers’ Welfare Scheme, 2023’. For registration and facilitation of migrant workers, ‘Karmasathi Portal (https://karmasathips.wblabour. gov.in) and Mobile App [Karmasathi (Parijayee Shramik)]’ have been introduced where he/she must be a resident of West Bengal and must be ordinarily a worker who is employed/likely to be employed outside the State or the country.
In case of death of the migrant worker, nominee will be provided with Rs. 50,000 in case of normal death, Rs. 2,00,000 in case of accidental death, Rs. 25,000 for repatriation of the dead body, Rs. 50,000 in case of 40% to 80% disability, Rs. 1,00,000 in case of more than 80% disability and Rs. 3,000 for cremation of dead body outside the State".
