Central government invites National Pension Scheme 2024 online registration form at enps.nsdl.com. Any citizen of India between the age of 18 to 70 can open NPS account through offline or online mode. Subscriber can open NPS account online by visiting eNPS website through PAN & Bank details. National Pension Scheme 2024 Registration Form Online
The online system is the quickest way to join NPS. This system allows you to open an NPS account and make subsequent contributions.
- First of all, visit the official website of National Pension System at https://enps.nsdl.com/eNPS/NationalPensionSystem.html
- At the homepage, click at "National Pension System" tab to open page where you can find links for registration, contribution, Tier II activation, Get same day NAC (D-Permit), annual transaction statement on email.
- Click at "Registration" tab or directly click https://enps.nsdl.com/eNPS/OnlineSubscriberRegistration.html?appType=main
- Then the National Pension Scheme online registration form 2024 will appear as shown below:-
- Here you can register with Permanent Account Number (PAN), Aadhaar, Digilocker ID.
- Fill in all the asked details accurately and click "Verify CKYC Details" tab.
- Along with new registration, facility of completing pending registration and OTP authentication / eSign / View Subscriber Registration Form is present at NPS portal.

Opening Pension Account under NPS through eNPS
Any individual can open a Pension account under NPS through eNPS using one of the following optionsOption 1 - Registration using Aadhaar Offline e-KYC
- You must have an Aadhaar Registered Mobile Number
- You are requested to upload Aadhaar Paperless Offline e-KYC ZIP file. If Zip File is not generated, Click Here to login with Aadhaar and download e-KYC ZIP File from UIDAI website. Please note UIDAI website best support on Google Chrome 6.0+ | Internet Explorer 9.0+ | Safari 4.0+
- Enter the Share code of 4-characters created at UIDAI website
- Demographic details (Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Mobile no., Address and Photo) will be fetched from Aadhaar Offline e-KYC Zip after Successful authentication and other mandatory details need to be filled up online.
- You need to upload scanned copy of PAN card and Cancelled Cheque in *.jpeg/ *.jpg/ *.png /*.pdf (unsigned) format having file size between 4KB - 2MB
- You need to upload your scanned Signature in *.jpeg/ *.jpg/ *.png format having file size between 2KB - 5MB
- You will be routed to a payment gateway for making the payment towards your NPS account from Internet Banking
- Subscriber have an option to follow OTP Authenticate or eSign the registration form
- Contributions are credited in PRANs on T+2 basis (subject to receipt of clear funds from Payment Gateway Service Provider)
Option 2 - Registration using Driving License through Digilocker
- You must have an valid Driving License uploaded in Digilocker
- Demographic details (Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Address and Photo) will be fetched from Digilocker after Successful authentication and other mandatory details need to be filled up online.
- You need to upload scanned copy of PAN card and Cancelled Cheque in *.jpeg/ *.jpg/ *.png /*.pdf (unsigned) format having file size between 4KB - 2MB
- You need to upload your scanned Signature in *.jpeg/ *.jpg/ *.png format having file size between 2KB - 5MB
- You will be routed to a payment gateway for making the payment towards your NPS account from Internet Banking
- Subscriber have an option to follow OTP Authenticate or eSign the registration form
- Contributions are credited in PRANs on T+2 basis (subject to receipt of clear funds from Payment Gateway Service Provider)
- Subscriber have an option to follow OTP Authenticate or eSign the registration form
- In addition, NRI subscribers should,
- Select the Bank Account Status i.e., Non-Repatriable account or Repatriable account
- Provide the NRE/NRO bank account details and upload scanned copy of passport
- Select the preferred address for communication i.e., Overseas Address or Permanent Address (communication at overseas address would entail extra charges)
National Pension System (NPS) Offline Registration
Points of Presence (PoPs) have been appointed by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) to service you, including your registration and acceptance of further contributions. If you prefer to access the NPS system offline, the following steps need to be followed.- Avail your PRAN (Permanent Retirement Account Number) application number from your preferred PoP-SP. You can also avail the PRAN application form by visiting the official NPS website.
- Fill out the PRAN application form with accurate details regarding scheme preference. You would also be required to provide a photograph, signature, and relevant KYC documentation.
- Submit the PRAN application form at the PoP-SP. The CRA (Central Recordkeeping Agency) will send your PRAN card to your registered address.
- You can track the status of your application with the receipt number provided by the PoP-SP on submission of the PRAN form.
- Pay the amount required for your first contribution and submit your contribution slip to the POP-SP.

Processing of Subsequent Contribution:
All existing Subscribers (Registered through both online and offline mode) can contribute in Tier I & Tier II account using 'eNPS'. To contribute online, you need to- Have an active Tier I / Tier II account
- Authenticate your PRAN using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number
- Pay through your Debit / Credit card or UPI or use Internet Banking option. Click Here to know more about UPI
- POP Service Charges will be applicable on the contribution amount @ 0.10% (subject to minimum of ₹ 10 and maximum of ₹ 10,000 per transaction). This service charges will not be applicable for subscribers registered in eNPS.
