YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme in AP Budget 2024-25
On 7th February 2024, Finance Minister presented AP Budget 2024-25. While presenting the Andhra Pradesh Budget, FM said "Under YSR Pension Kanuka, being implemented on saturation mode, the eligible age criterion was reduced from 65 years to 60 years, the amount enhanced to Rs. 3,000 from 1st January 2024 and new health related pensions sanctioned with Rs. 10,000 per month. The monthly disbursal of pensions has increased from Rs.1,385 crore in 2019 to Rs. 1,968 crore in January 2024. Since 2019, our government disbursed Rs 84,731 crore through YSR Pension Kanuka to 66.35 lakh beneficiaries".

- At the homepage, click at the "Disbursed this Month" link present in the main menu

- Upon clicking the link, the dashboard page to track AP YSR Pension Kanuka disbursed this month will appear as shown below:-
- Here you can check name of district, number of pensions released, disbursed (physical progress), amount released, amount disbursed (financial progress).

- SSP, DMHO & PLHIV (ART) can make User Login using user name and password and clicking at "Get OTP" button.

About YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme 2024
AP govt. is committed to the welfare and development of all segments of the society. CM Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy announced "Navaratnalu" comprising of various welfare and developmental programmes to achieve this objective. As part of the Navarathnalu , enhancement of pension amount and reduction in the age criteria for old age pension is a major welfare measure to reduce the hardships of the poor and vulnerable sections of the society particularly the old and infirm, widows, and persons with disability to secure a dignified life.
In pursuit of this overarching goal, inspite of the challenging financial conditions, orders were issued for enhancing the Social Security Pensions amount for old age persons, widow, toddy tappers, weavers, single women, fishermen, ART (PLHIV) persons , traditional cobblers, disabled persons, transgender and dappu artists to Rs. 3,000/- per month, and also for people affected with Chronic Kidney Disease who are undergoing dialysis in both Government and network hospitals to Rs. 10,000 per month. The enhanced scale of pension came into effect from December last year & payable from 1st January, 2024 onwards.
YSR Pension Amount Per Month for Eligible Pensioners
- Old Age Persons - Rs. 3000/- per month (From 1 January 2024)
- Weavers - Rs. 3000/- per month
- Widow - Rs. 3000/- per month
- Disabled persons - Rs. 3,000/- per month
- Toddy Tappers - Rs. 3000/- per month
- ART (PLHIV) Persons - Rs. 3000/- per month
- Transgender - Rs. 3,000/- per month
- Single women - Rs. 3000/- per month
- Fishermen - Rs. 3000/- per month
- Traditional Cobblers - Rs. 3000/- per month
- Dappu Artists - Rs. 3,000/- per month
- People affected with Chronic Kidney Disease undergoing Dialysis in govt. or network hospitals - Rs. 10,000/- per month.
Approx. 66 lakh social pension beneficiaries will get an enhanced pension amount of Rs. 3000 from 1 January 2024 under "YSR Pension Kanuka". This will cost the state exchequer approx. Rs. 1968 crore per month (around 23000 cr. every year).
