Amar Karmadisha 2.0 in West Bengal Budget 2024-25

On 8th February 2024, Finance Minister presented West Bengal Budget 2024-25. While delivering the budget speech, FM said "Rojgar Seva Portal, Aamar Karmadisha 2.0 (Psychometric Counselling App), Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development Portal 2.0, Assessment Portal of WBSCTVESD and Entrepreneurship Development Programme have been launched on 23rd August, 2023".

FM added "About 1.91 lakh candidates have registered through ‘Aamar Karmadisha’, the application for Career Counselling. The services under the Aamar Karmadisha are also now offered through Duare Sarkar camps across the State".

Amar Karma Disha is a free, anytime access solution to navigate one's career choices in a direction based on his/her interest. The solution also provides suitable job-roles based on an individual's interest to improve the employability chances. • First of all, visit the official Amar Karmadisha portal at https://amarkarmadisha.wb.gov.in/

• At the homepage, enter 'Mobile Number', 'Date of Birth', tick declaration and click "Get OTP" button.
• You will receive an OTP on the entered mobile number which you shall validate.
