e-kshatipurti Platform in Haryana Budget 2024-25

On 23 Feb 2024, Finance Minister presented Haryana Budget 2024-25. While delivering the budget speech, FM said "The Government introduced e-kshatipurti as a digital platform for enabling the farmer to register the claim for compensation in case of damage to crops on account of any calamity. This has enabled the Government to provide support directly to the farmer in contrast to the landowner in the past. E-kshatipurti has enabled the quick verification and disbursement of compensation claims. In FY 2023-24, a sum of ₹297.58 crore has been provided directly into the accounts of farmers as compensation".

All those farmers who want to apply online for compensation claim in case their crops are damaged must follow the procedure below:-

• First of all, visit the official website https://ekshatipurti.haryana.gov.in/

• At the homepage, select one option by clicking either the "परिवार पहचान संख्या" or "आधार संख्या" option.
• Here we have selected परिवार पहचान संख्या option. Then it will ask to enter Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) ID.

• Enter PPP ID, select member name and get OTP on your registered mobile number for Haryana family ID.
• Next enter the OTP received and click "Submit" button.

• Upon verifying the OTP, the apply online form for compensation claim of crop damage will appear as shown below:-

• Fill the form completely, verify OTP and submit it to complete application process for crop damage compensation.
