Haryana Antyodya Parivar Parivahan Yojana (HAPPY) has been launched to benefit poor families to avail free travel upto 1000 k.m per year in Haryana Roadways Buses. Around 22.89 lakh families with around 84 lakh persons having annual income upto ₹1 lakh would be benefited. Each beneficiary will receive smart card linked to the e-ticketing system to enable free travel in the roadways.

Happy Yojana in Haryana Budget 2024-25
On 23 Feb 2024, Finance Minister presented Haryana Budget 2024-25. While presenting the budget, FM said "I had the pleasure of announcing the Haryana Antyodya Parivar Parivahan Yojana (HAPPY) to benefit poor families to avail free travel, up to 1000 kilometres every year in Haryana Roadways Buses. Under this Yojana, the benefit of free travel will be available to 22.89 lakh families with around 84 lakh persons having annual income upto ₹1 lakh. The beneficiaries would be issued a smart card linked to the e-ticketing system to enable free travel in the Haryana Roadways Buses. Eligibility Criteria for HAPPY Scheme in Haryana
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana state.
- Applicant must belong to a poor family with annual income upto Rs. 1 lakh.
- Free travel is applicable only for first 1000 kilometres in a particular year.

How to Apply Online for Happy Yojana
- First of all, visit the official website of Haryana Happy Scheme.
- On the homepage, click at "Apply" link.
- Upon clicking the link, the Happy Yojana online registration form will open.
- Fill in the asked details accurately and upload necessary documents as mentioned above.
- Review your filled in information in the application form through online mode.
- Finally, click on the "Submit" button to send your application to the concerned authorities for approval.
