Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) is being implemented across all the healthcare facilities in the State through BHAVYA portal. The portal has offline friendly interfaces as well. The government of Bihar envisions a seamless interconnected healthcare service provisioning platform to harness the IT revolution, which is consistently evolving at a fast pace.

मुख्यमंत्री डिजिटल हेल्थ योजना (भव्या) in Bihar Budget 2024-25
Finance Minister presented Bihar Budget 2024-25 on 13th Feb 2024. While presenting the budget, FM said "मुख्यमंत्री डिजिटल हेल्थ योजना (भव्या) प्रथम चरण में यह योजना राज्य के 04 जिलों यथा - मुजफ्फरपुर, नालंदा, गोपालगंज एवं सीवान जिला में लागू किया गया है। इस परिवर्तनकारी अनूठी पहल से प्रतिदिन चिकित्सकों द्वारा औसतन 26-30 मरीजों का इलाज किया जा रहा है। शेष 34 जिलों में भी ओ.पी.डी. रजिस्ट्रेशन एवं फार्मेसी मॉडल लागू है एवं शेष मॉडल को लागू करने की प्रक्रिया जारी है। इस योजना अंतर्गत लगभग 1.50 लाख स्वास्थ्य पेशेवरों को प्रशिक्षित किया जा रहा है।"
FM also said about tele-consultation that "टेली कन्सलटेशन वर्तमान में टेली कन्सलटेशन के अंतर्गत वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से दूरवर्ती निवासियों को कुशल चिकित्सकों के द्वारा गुणवत्तापूर्ण चिकित्सीय परामर्श प्रदान किया जा रहा है। यह सेवा एक करोड़ से अधिक व्यक्तियों को प्रदान किया जा चुका है।"
Bhavya Cards to Citizens in Bihar
मुख्यमंत्री डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य योजना के तहत मरीजों को एक विशेष हेल्थ पहचान पत्र (Bhavya Card) भी दिया जाएगा। इस पहचान पत्र के माध्यम से डाक्टरों को रोगियों के स्वास्थ्य रिकार्ड तक पहुंचने की सुविधा होगी ताकि डाक्टर मरीज के स्वास्थ्य के संबंध में बेहतर निर्णय ले सके। मरीजों का मेडिकल रिकार्ड सर्वर में सुरक्षित रहेगा इससे सटीक जानकारी भी मिल सकेगी।इसके अलावा डिजिटल योजना के प्रारंभ होने से डायग्नोस्टिक रिपोर्ट, डिस्चार्ज समरी, प्रिस्क्रिप्शन के लिए पेपरलेस सुविधा भी बहाल हो सकेगी। विभाग ने आधिकारिक जानकारी में बताया पूरी योजना का खाका तैयार है। जिलों में योजना को प्रभावी बनाने के लिए निजी एजेंसी से करार किया जाएगा और वर्ष के अंत तक योजना को सभी जिलों में चरणवार प्रभावी किया जाएगा।
