AP Jagananna Animutyalu Scheme 2024 - State Brilliance Awards to Students of Govt. Schools / Junior Colleges

Andhra Pradesh government has started a new Jagananna Animutyalu Scheme 2024. Under this state brilliance awards scheme, the state govt. will provide cash prizes, certificates and felicitations to students of govt. schools and junior colleges. Jagananna Aanimutyalu scheme aims to felicitate parents of brilliant students. 

About AP Jagananna Animutyalu Scheme 2024

Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy started a new programme called Jagananna Animutyalu (State Brilliance Awards) under which students of government schools and junior colleges will be given cash prizes, certificates and felicitations and their parents will be felicitated. Aanimutyalu awards will be presented to 1,246 students of SSC and 1,586 students of Intermediate at a state-level function to be held in Vijayawada on 31 May 2024.

AP state government has issued GO 44 titled Jagananna Aanimutyalu (State Brilliance Awards) - Felicitation Programme. 

Who are eligible for YSR Animutyalu Scheme

• Students of SSC: The awards under Aanimutyalu scheme will be given to top 3 meritorious students, who secure highest marks in SSC public examinations to be conducted in April 2024 from schools under different government managements.
• Students of Intermediate: The awards under Animutyalu scheme will also be given to junior college students who secure top marks in each group of MPC, BiPC, HEC and CEC / MEC in Intermediate public examinations to be conducted in March 2024 and studied in colleges under different government managements.

CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy mentioned, "Education is the top weapon. Hence our government's focus is mainly on education. Education is the only asset that we pass on to future generations. Students with good education can become top-notch professionals. My government is ready to extend the required financial support to any number of students in each and every family, as the government considers expenditure on education as an investment in future."

Felicitation to Toppers in Jagananna Aanimutyalu Scheme

The AP state Government decided to felicitate the students from Government Schools and Colleges who will showcase the outstanding performance in the SSC Public Examinations, April 2024 and Intermediate Examinations, March 2024.

Felicitation Programme at Assembly Constituency Level

• Top three highest scorers in SSC exam from the Assembly Constituency. 
• Top One student in each group of MPC, BiPC, HEC & CEC/MEC 
• A Medal and Merit certificate to students, 
• Memento to the School and shawl to Head Teacher 
• Shawl to the parents of the student. 
• The Program be held on 25.05.2024 in Mandal headquarter of respective Assembly constituency under the chairmanship of MLA 
• Constituency level Special officer to coordinate with all department's and organise the program 
• The MEO of the Head Quarter Mandal of Assembly constituency shall be appointed as Convener to make necessary arrangements. 
• For SSC, a Total of 602 students list will be prepared for 175 constituencies. 
• For Intermediate, A Total of 750 students list will be prepared.

Felicitation Programme at District Level

• Top three highest scorers each in SSC from 09 Government managements. 
• Top One in each group of MPC, BiPC, HEC & CEC/MEC from 07 Government managements each.
• The Program to be held on 27/05/2024 in a function hall at district Head Quarter, under the chairmanship of District Minister/ Incharge Minister. 
• A cash memo of Rs. 50,000, Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 10,000 for top three highest marks in SSC Public Examinations April-2024 respectively. 
• District Collector to coordinate with the Ministers and Public representatives and organise the program
• The DEO of concern district shall be appointed as Convener to make necessary arrangements such as place of venue and other requirements etc. 
• A Total of 606 SSC students list to be prepared for 26 Districts. 
• A Total of 800 Inter students list to be prepared for 26 Districts.

Felicitation Programme at State Level

• Top three highest scorers each in SSC exam from 09 Government management Schools. 
• Top One in each group of MPC, BiPC, HEC & CEC/MEC each from 07 Government managements. 
• A cash memo of Rs. 1,00,000, Rs. 75,000 and Rs. 50,000 respectively. 
• The Program to be held on 31/05/2024 in Vijayawada under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Education Minister 
• Hon’ble Chief Minister will be the Chief Guest 
• DGE to be appointed as Convener & JD, O/o BIE to assist the DGE in making necessary arrangements.
• A total of 42 SSC students list to be prepared. 
• A total of 35 Inter students list to be prepared.

Selection of Students in AP State Brilliance Awards Scheme

Students at each constituency level will be selected for Jagananna Aanimutyalu awards on 25 May 2024. The same exercise will be done at the district level on 27 May 2024 at each district headquarters level. The CM will present awards to toppers in Vijayawada on 31 May 2024.

Education minister has hailed Jagananna Aanimutyalu as an unprecedented decision in the country. He maintained that Andhra Pradesh is the only state, which has brought revolutionary reforms in the government education sector. It is now honouring students in the name of Jagananna Aanimutyalu.
