Uttar Pradesh government has launched Nand Baba Dudh Mission Yojana on 6th June 2023. Nand Baba Milk Mission Scheme aims to enable milk producers to sell cow milk at reasonable prices in villages through dairy co-operative societies. UP Dairy Development Department is making constant efforts to ensure the development of the rural economy in the state, to provide remunerative prices to the farmers for their milk and to strengthen the agro-based infrastructure. 

Nand Baba Dugdh Mission portal (updairydevelopment.gov.in/NBDMSchemes.aspx) is now functional. One can check schemes list currently operational under Nand Baba Doodh Mission Yojana launched to make Uttar Pradesh a leading state in the field of milk development and milk production.

नन्द बाबा दुग्ध मिशन योजना in UP Budget 2024-25

भारत विश्व में सर्वाधिक दुग्ध उत्पादन करने वाला देश है जिसमें उत्तर प्रदेश सर्वाधिक दुग्ध उत्पादनकर्ता राज्य है। दिन प्रतिदिन बढ़ती हुई जनसंख्या एवं घटती हुई कृषि योग्य भूमि के कारण दुग्ध व्यवसाय ही एकमात्र ऐसा व्यवसाय है, जो ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के अनुसूचित जाति एवं अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के निर्बल, भूमिहीन मजदूर, बेरोजगारों हेतु अतिरिक्त आय का लाभप्रद साधन है।

• दुग्ध संघों के सुदृढ़ीकरण एवं पुनर्जीवित करने की योजना हेतु 106 करोड़ 95 लाख रूपये की व्यवस्था प्रस्तावित है।
• नन्द बाबा दुग्ध मिशन योजना हेतु 74 करोड़ 21 लाख रूपये की व्यवस्था प्रस्तावित है जो वर्तमान वर्ष की तुलना में 21 प्रतिशत अधिक है।

• उत्तर प्रदेश दुग्ध उत्पाद प्रोत्साहन नीति-2022 के अन्तर्गत प्रदेश में स्थापित होने वाले दुग्ध उद्योग की इकाईयों को प्रोत्साहन स्वीकृत किये जाने हेतु 25 करोड़ रूपये की व्यवस्था प्रस्तावित है।
• जनपद मथुरा में 30 हजार लीटर प्रतिदिन क्षमता (विस्तारीकरण 01 लाख लीटर प्रतिदिन) के नवीन डेरी प्लान्ट के निर्माण हेतु 23 करोड़ रूपये की व्यवस्था प्रस्तावित है।

Under this mission, it is proposed to form Dairy Farmer Producer Organization (Dairy FPO) in order to facilitate sale of milk in producers’ villages itself.
