5 फ़रवरी 2024 को वित्त मंत्री ने उत्तर प्रदेश बजट 2024-25 पेश किया। UP Budget 2024-2025 पेश करते समय वित्त मंत्री ने कहा कि "मुख्यमंत्री कृषक दुर्घटना कल्याण योजना के अन्तर्गत 1000 करोड़ रूपये की व्यवस्था प्रस्तावित है।"

Under this scheme, the state govt. of UP will provide financial assistance to farmer's family in case of accidental death / disability of farmers while working in fields. Here is the complete process to apply offline for UP Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana:-

• Firstly farmers or their family members will have to write an application addressing District Collector.
• Collect the UP Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana Registration Form PDF

• The written application form must mention the detailed information of incident happened to farmers.

• Application needs to be submitted within 45 days of incident happening.
• Collector has the right to give an extended timeline of upto 1 month to file application form.
• It is important to note that all the application forms which are submitted after 75 days would not be considered under any circumstances.

UP Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana Beneficiaries

This accidental insurance scheme for farmers in UP will cover the following persons:-

1. Account holder / Joint Account Holder Farmers.
2. Farmers family members includes Mother, Father, Husband, Wife, Girl Children, Boy Child, Daughter in Law, Grandson and Grand daughter.
3. All the landless farmers who perform farming and cultivation on land taken at pattas.
4. Bataidars are also included, bataidars are those who works on other person's fields and shares crop after it is harvested.

All of these beneficiaries can apply offline or online to avail compensation amount of Rs. 5 lakh.

UP Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to become eligible for accidental insurance scheme for farmers:-

• Only those farmers and their family members who are residing in Uttar Pradesh are eligible.
• The age of farmer and their family members must lie in the age group of 18 to 70 years.

Assistance Amount in मुख्यमंत्री कृषक दुर्घटना कल्याण योजना 

• दुर्घटना में मृत्यु हो जाने वाले किसान के परिवार - 5 लाख रूपये
• 60 % किलांगता वाले किसान - 2 लाख रूपये
• दुर्घटना में आँखे चले जाने के कारण - 5 लाख रूपये
• एक हाथ तथा 1 पैर में नुक्सान वाले किसान - 5 लाख रूपये
• दोनों हाथ दोनों पैर ना होने वाले किसान - 5 लाख रूपये
