WBSSP Registration 2024 / Login: West Bengal Swanirbhar Sahayak Prakalpa (WBSSP) online application form are invited at shgsewb.gov.in/wbsspadmin/home. Under WBSSP scheme, the state govt. aims to reduce interest burden of the SHGs accessing bank credit through the interest subvention. West Bengal Swarojgar Sahayak Prakalpo ensures that no SHG pays more than 2% as interest for the bank loan received.

WBSSP Registration 2024 and Login

• First of all, go to the West Bengal Swanirbhar Sahayak Prakalpo official website at https://shgsewb.gov.in/wbsspadmin/home

• New users will have to make WBSSP registration firstly by scrolling over at "Registration" tab and then click "Registration As Group" link.

• Subsequently, the WBSSP online registration form 2024 will appear as shown below:-

• Make registration as SHG using mobile number, mobile no of SHG group, your name, group name and click at "Submit" button to complete West bengal Swarojgar Sahayak Prakalpa registration process. 
• Next after registration, click at "Login" button or directly click https://shgsewb.gov.in/wbsspadmin/login
• Accordingly, the page to make West Bengal Swarojgar Sahayak Prakalpo Portal Login will appear as shown below:-

• Existing users can enter Login ID, password, captcha and click at "Sign In" button to make West Bengal Swanirbhar Sahayak Prakalpo login.

 

West Bengal Swarojgar Sahayak Prakalpa in WB Budget 2024-25

On 8th February 2024, Finance Minister presented West Bengal Budget 2024-25. While delivering the budget speech, FM said "West Bengal Swarojgar Sahayak Prakalpa (WBSSP) provides interest subvention to the loans received by the SHGs with the primary objective of reducing the interest burden of the SHG to a meagre of 2 per cent. Rs. 30 crore have been provided to 1,00,659 SHGs as interest subvention under the West Bengal Swanirbhar Sahayak Prakalpo (WBSSP) Scheme".

About West Bengal Swanirbhar Sahayak Prakalpa (WBSSP) Scheme

WBSSP was launched in 2012-13 financial year with the objective of reducing interest burden of the Self-help Groups accessing bank credit through the interest subvention. The scheme ensures that no SHG pays more than 2% as interest for the bank loan received. Interest subsidy from the department ranges from 9% to 2%, depending on the nature of the group and the programme under which the group is mobilized. Implemented throughout the state and for all the registered SHGs accessing bank credit, the Department has so far been able to provide interest subvention to 21.05 lakh self-help groups. 

Implemented through the West Bengal Swarojgar Corporation Limited, this is an entirely state government funded programme. In order to streamline the system, it has been decided by the Government that the Banks will submit the claim of subsidy electronically to West Bengal Swarojgar Corporation Ltd, wherefrom the claims will be verified and after verification e-payments will be made directly to the accounts of the eligible SHGs through RTGS/NEFT.
