Annadatha Sukhibhava Scheme Launch on 2 August 2025
Annadatha Sukhibhava Scheme is a poll a promise made by the hon'ble CM Naidu in the run-up to the 2024 polls. It is part of the 'Super Six' set of poll promises, which assured three free cooking gas cylinders per annum, Rs. 15000 per annum for every school-going child, Rs. 1500 monthly financial aid for women between 19 and 59 years and others."The state government is ready to implement Annadatha Sukhibhava on August 2. Chief Minister Chandrababu (Naidu) will launch Annadatha Sukhibhava at Darsi, Prakasam district," said an official release on Thursday, adding that Naidu held a review meeting on this scheme. Moreover, the central government will release funds under the PM-Kisan scheme on August 2.
Clubbing the Centre's contribution of Rs 6,000 under PM-Kisan and the state's contribution of Rs 14,000, the southern state aims to disburse Rs 20,000 per annum to eligible farmers under 'Annadatha Sukhibhava'-PM Kisan scheme in three installments. The first installment encompasses Rs 5,000 by the state government and Rs 2,000 by the Centre, the release said.
As many as 47 lakh farmers are expected to benefit under this Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme. The NDA government has allocated Rs. 2,343 crore for the first installment while the centre will deposit Rs. 831 crore, the release added.
About AP Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme 2025
Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme has been launched by AP government for the welfare of farmers. This scheme is a revamped version of the earlier YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme. Under Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme, the state govt. will provide Rs. 20,000 financial assistance per annum to farmers in Andhra Pradesh. Out of this amount, Rs. 6000 would be given by central government under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and Rs. 14000 would be given from state govt. funds.
The previous YSRC government had provided Rs. 13,500 (Rs. 6000 central + Rs. 7500 state) per annum as financial assistance to farmers under Rythu Bharosa Scheme.
Annadatha Sukhibhava - PM Kisan Scheme to Run in Parallel
The new Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme would work in parallel to PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, so it often called as Annadata Sukhibhava-PM Kisan Scheme. The major objective of the scheme is to improve the productivity of the crops by assisting farmers. A total of Rs. 20,000 would be provided including Rs. 6000 from central funds and Rs. 14000 from state funds.
