The amount given under TS Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme will help to alleviate the financial distress of SC, ST, OBC, EBC families. For minority community girls, a similar scheme namely Shaadi Mubarak Scheme has been launched. Telangana govt. will sanction one-time financial assistance of Rs. 1,00,116 at the time of marriage for brides who are residents of Telangana State. TS Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam Scheme main motto is to help the SC/ST/OBC/EBC families for bride's marriage. The eligible beneficiaries will get up to Rs. 100116 amount for bride's marriage.
Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme was introduced with effect from October 2, 2014, for unmarried girls, who have completed 18 years of age at the time of marriage and whose parental income does not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum.

Eligibility Criteria for Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme
- Kalyana Lakshmi scheme is applicable only to girls who are going to get married.
- Applicant must be a resident girl of Telangana state.
- She must have completed 18 years of age.
- Bride must belong to either SC or ST or BC or EBC category.
- Total annual income of the family of girl from SC category must not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum.
- Total annual income of the family of girl from ST category must not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum.
- Annual income of the family of girl from BC category (Urban) must not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum. However, family income of girl from BC category (Rural) must not exceed Rs. 1.5 lakh p.a.
- Annual income of the family of girl from EBC category (Urban) must not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum. However, family income of girl from EBC category (Rural) must not exceed Rs. 1.5 lakh p.a.

Telangana Kalyana Laxmi Scheme 2024 Amount
Telangana Kalyana Lakshmi scheme was launched by the CM KCR on 2 October 2014. A provision of providing Rs. 51,000 to unmarried girls from SC/ST/BC/EBC families in the TS state was made. Then the financial assistance was increased to Rs. 75,116 to bride's family. On 19 March 2018, the financial aid was again increased to Rs. 1,00,116 to enable SC, ST, OBC, EBC families to meet marriage expenses of their unmarried daughter after she completes 18 years of age and thus preventing child marriages.
Apply Online Process for Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme
Kalyana Lakshmi is a welfare scheme for providing financial assistance for marriages by the Government of Telangana, a novel scheme for all poor people in the state. - MRO takes the approval of the concerned MLA.
- RDO releases the amount to the bank account of the bride's mother.
