Under this flagship scheme of the Chouhan government, the beneficiaries were so far taken on pilgrimages by trains. Now, the option of flights is being included in it.

Air Travel in MP Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana

Madhya Pradesh state govt. will be taking some senior citizens in the state on free pilgrimages by air under its existing scheme and the exercise will start soon. It will be part of the MP government's flagship 'Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana', which was launched in June 2012. 

Till now, the beneficiaries used to be taken to various places of religious worship by trains. But now, air travel will be added to it. As per the new plan under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries from 25 districts (out of the total 52 in the state) will be taken on pilgrimages to various destinations by aeroplanes.

Beneficiaries will be able to undertake pilgrimages to different destinations allotted to them. These places are Prayagraj, Shirdi, Mathura-Vrindavan and Gangasagar. They will be taken to these religious sites by regular service flights. A total of 33 seats will be reserved for each district. While 32 of these seats will be beneficiaries, one will be for an escort officer in each flight. Also the scheme will be implemented with the help of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). A tour manager designated by the IRCTC will also accompany the beneficiaries of the scheme.

MP मुख्यमंत्री तीर्थ दर्शन योजना Eligibility for Air Travel

In order to avail the MP Teerth Darshan scheme (aeroplane component) benefits, the beneficiaries should be aged 65 and above, and should not be an income tax payee. If the administration receives more applications than the allotted quota for each district, the beneficiaries will be selected through a lottery system. As per the plan, the flights under the scheme will start operating soon.

क्या है मुख्यमंत्री तीर्थ दर्शन योजना 2024 मध्य प्रदेश 

मुख्यमंत्री तीर्थ दर्शन योजना (रेल यात्रा) अंतर्गत मध्यप्रदेश के वरिष्ठ नागरिकों जो 60 वर्ष या अधिक आयु के व्यक्ति (महिलाओं के मामले में 2 वर्ष की छूट) जो आयकर दाता नहीं है, को प्रदेश के बाहर स्थित विभिन्न नाम निर्दिष्ट तीर्थ स्थानों में से एक या दो युग्म स्थानों की यात्रा सुलभ कराने हेतु मुख्यमंत्री तीर्थ दर्शन योजना परिकल्पित की गयी है। मध्यप्रदेश शासन ने जून 2012 में इस योजना का शुभारंभ किया है| इस योजना में प्रदेश के वरिष्ठ नागरिको को देश के चिन्हित तीर्थ स्थल की नि:शुल्क यात्रा कराई जाती है| 

तीर्थ यात्रीयो को विशेष रेल से यात्रा, नाश्‍ता, भोजन एवं शुद्ध पेयजल, तीर्थ स्‍थान पर रुकने की व्यवस्था, जहाँ आवश्यक हो बस से यात्रा व अन्य सुविधाएँ धार्मिक न्यास और धर्मस्व विभाग, मध्यप्रदेश शासन से अनुबंधित इंडियन रेलवे केटरिंग एंड टूरिज्म कारपोरेशन लिमिटेड (IRCTC), जो कि भारत सरकार का उपक्रम है, के द्वारा उपलब्ध करायी जाती है|

MP Mukhyamantri Tirth Darshan Yojana के कुछ महत्वपूर्ण दिशा निर्देश

• आवेदक द्वारा आवेदन पत्र को हिंदी में भरा जाना है।
• आवेदन पत्र में आवेदक को एक रंगीन पासपोर्ट साइज फोटो लगाना है।
• आपात स्थिति के लिए किसी संबंधित व्यक्ति का मोबाइल नंबर तथा निवास का पता प्रदान करना अनिवार्य है।
• यात्रा के दौरान अच्छा आचरण रखें। 
• यात्रा के अनुभव एवं वृत्तांतो को आपस में बांटे।
• यात्रा के दौरान ज्वलनशील पदार्थ तथा मादक पदार्थ ले जाना मना है।
• यात्रा में कोई भी बहुमूल्य रतन, आभूषण आदि साथ ले जाना वर्जित है।
• यात्रा के दौरान संपर्क अधिकारी / पर्यवेक्षक/ अनुरक्षक के निर्देशो का पालन करना आवश्यक है।
• यात्रियों से यह निवेदन है कि यात्रा के दौरान कोई भी ऐसा आचरण ना करें जिससे कि प्रदेश की छवि धूमिल हो।
• यात्रियों से अपेक्षा है कि वे मौसम के अनुरूप वस्‍त्र, ऊनी वस्‍त्र, व्‍यक्तिगत उपयोग की सामग्री यथा कंबल, चादर, तौलिया, साबुन, कंघा, दाढी बनाने का सामान, दवाईयां आदि साथ में रखें।
• यात्रियों को अपने साथ परिचय पत्र जैसे - आधार कार्ड/ वोटर कार्ड साथ में रखना अनिवार्य है।
• यात्रा के दौरान कोविड प्रोटोकॉल का पालन अनिवार्य रूप से किया जावे।
• यात्रा के दौरान होने वाली किसी दुर्घटना अथवा कठिनाई के लिये राज्‍य शासन अथवा उसका कोई अधिकारी/कर्मचारी उत्‍तरदायी नहीं होगा।

CM Tirth Darshan Scheme के अंतर्गत आवेदन (Normal Travel) के लिए पात्रता

• मध्यप्रदेश का मूल निवासी होना आवश्‍यक है।
• आयकर दाता न हो। 
• रेल यात्रा के लिए 60 वर्ष की आयु पूर्ण कर चूका हो तथा हवाई यात्रा के लिए 65 वर्ष की आयु पूर्ण कर चूका हो।
• महिलाओ के मामले में 2 वर्ष की छुट होगी।
• ऐसे दिव्यांग नागरिक जिनकी विकलांगता 60 प्रतिशत से अधिक हो, आयु का बंधन नहीं है।
• यदि पति–पत्नी साथ यात्रा करना चाहते है तो पति/पत्नी में से किसी एक को पात्रता होने पर जीवन साथी भी यात्रा पर जा सकता है, भले ही उसकी आयु 60 वर्ष से कम हो।
• तीर्थ यात्रा हेतु समूह बनाकर आवेदन किया जा सकता है, समूह का मुखिया मुख्य आवेदक होगा, किन्तु ऐसा समूह 25 व्यक्तियों से अधिक का नही होगा।
• यात्रा हेतु आवेदक शारीरिक एवं मानसिक रूप से सक्षम हो और किसी संक्रामक रोग जैसे टी.बी., कोंजेष्टिव कार्डियाक, शवास में अवरोध सम्बन्धी बीमारी, कोरोनरी अपर्याप्तता, कोरोनरी थ्रोम्बोसिस, मानसिक व्याधि, संक्रमण कुष्ठ रोग आदि से ग्रसित न हो। 
• यात्रा करने हेतु आवेदक द्वारा शारीरिक एवं मानसिक रूप से सक्षम होने और किसी संक्रामक रोग से ग्रसित नहीं होने का चिकित्‍सीय प्रमाण-पत्र आवेदन में दिया जाना अनिवार्य है।
• 65 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के एकल तीर्थ यात्री एवं 60 प्रतिशत से अधिक दिव्यांग नागरिक को सहायक (केयर टेकर) ले जाने की पात्रता है।
