Gujarat Laptop Sahay Yojana 2024 application form PDF is available to download at glwb.gujarat.gov.in. Under this scheme, the state govt. will provide free laptops to the children of labourers registered with Gujarat Labour Welfare Board. Now a days there is an increasing trend for getting online classes, but children of registered labourers remain deprived of these classes due to lack of laptops. So, Gujarat govt is coming forward to help the poor and needy students by providing assistance to purchase free laptops in Gujarat state.

Under laptop sahay yojana 2024, Gujarat government will provide financial assistance as loan amount with an annual interest rate of only 6%. Registered labourer can return loan amount in even 60 monthly installments. In case of not paying loan amount, it will attract penalty of 2.5% extra interest over and above the existing interest.  

On the laptops under laptop sahay yojna, beneficiaries will get the accounting software tally and GST software pre-installed for completely free. Gujarat labour welfare board (GLWB) will provide financial aid among the building & construction workers (BOCW) of the state for buying new laptops.

Eligibility Criteria for Gujarat Laptop Sahay Yojana 2024

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of the Gujarat state.
• Children of labourers registered with Gujarat Labour Welfare Board (GLWB) are eligible.
• The age of the student must be between 18 to 30 years.
• The minimum educational qualification of the students must be a 12th pass from any recognized school or college.
• The student's family must not have taken any loan before from any of the government and semi-government banks in Gujarat state.
• The family member of the applicant should not engage in any of the government and semi-government offices.
• The annual family income must not be exceeding than Rs. 3 lakh.
