Madhya Pradesh government has started MP Aahar Anudan Yojana 2024 status, list of documents available online. On 13th January 2024, CM Mohan Yadav led state govt. transferred a sum of Rs. 29.11 crore for nutritional food to 1.94 lakh tribal sisters under Aahaar Anudan Yojana. MP Aahar Anudan Yojana was initially started on 23 December 2017 by the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. This scheme is continuing under the current CM Mohan Yadav as well. In this scheme, the state govt. provide Rs. 1500 per month (earlier Rs. 1000) grant to beneficiaries for purchase of nutritional food. To curb malnutrition, Aahar Anudan Yojana was made and is continuing since then.

MP Aahar Anudan Yojana 2024 Status

Reiterating the MP state govt's commitment to tribal welfare, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred a sum of Rs. 29.11 crore under Aahar Anudaan Yojana for tribals on 13th Jan 2024. The CM transferred the money by a single click at a state level function held at tribal-dominated Shahdol. The amount would be distributed to beneficiaries of Sahariya, Baiga and Bharia tribes that reside in significant numbers in 14 of 55 districts of MP.

13 January 2024 Update - मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव ने आज शहडोल में 'आहार अनुदान योजना' के अंतर्गत 14 जिलों की 1.94 लाख जनजातीय बहनों के खाते में ₹29.11 करोड़ की राशि अंतरित की तथा जिलेवासियों को विभिन्न विकास कार्यों की सौगात भी दी।

Benefits of Aahar Anudan Yojana in Madhya Pradesh

Each beneficiary is entitled to get Rs. 1500 assistance for purchasing nutritious food.
The amount is directly transferred into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through direct benefit transfer (DBT) mode.
Aahar Anudan is for " राज्‍य के बैगा, भारिया और सहरिया जनजाति जो म.प्र. का मूल निवासी (शासकीय सेवा में न हो एवं आयकरदाता न हो) के लिए है।
This scheme is applicable to beneficiaries both in rural and urban areas of Madhya Pradesh state.

Eligibility Criteria for Aahar Anudan Yojana MP

This scheme is only for residents of Madhya Pradesh state.
Beneficiaries must belong to बैगा, भारिया और सहरिया जनजाति.
No member of the beneficiary family must be working as a state / central govt. employee.
No family member of the beneficiary must be an Income Tax Payee.
