Bihar state cabinet has approved a new scheme namely Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana for women's employment. Under this scheme, the state govt. will provide financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 to a woman from all the families located across the state. It would enable them to start any work of their choice. 
The process of receiving applications for Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana from interested women will be started soon. All the interested women must make registration for the said scheme within the specified time frame.

Bihar Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana Registration 2025
The cabinet committee headed by the honourable Chief Minister of Bihar, Sh. Nitish Kumar, has approved a new women centric scheme. Employment is the main focus of the Bihar state government and accordingly, the new scheme is named as Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana.
The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 to a woman from all the families of the state to start employment of their choice. An amount of Rs. 10k will be given as the first installment to one woman of a family for employment of their choice.
As the scheme has just been approved and official portal for Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana is in preparation stages, so there is no confirmed apply online process (as of today). Eligibility Criteria for Bihar CM Mahila Rojgar Yojana
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of the Bihar state.
- Applicant must only be a woman, as this scheme is specifically meant for woman only.
- The woman must be unemployed.
- No two woman from a single family can apply for Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana.
- There is no minimum age requirement for a woman as official guidelines for the scheme are not out yet.

Implementation Department for Bihar Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana
The entire application process for Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana would be determined by the Rural Development Department of the Bihar state. Moreover for this purpose, cooperation of the Urban development and Housing Department will also be taken as per the need.
Funds will be transferred to the bank accounts of women from the month of September 2025 itself. An additional assistance of upto Rs. 2 lakh can be given as per the need after assessing 6 months performance after women becomes entrepreneur.
